What I despise are the anti-piracy commercials. It's like "fuck! I already rented it or bought it, what more do you want from me."

And the comparison between the bigscreen TV with the surround sound and the movie theatre saying how it's not the same. They're right, it's not the same, when there's an annoying kid crying or talking during the movie it's my kid. There's no one talking on their cellphone or kicking my chair. I'll go back to the theatre when they cut theprices in half, not before.

I agree with everything you say about the theater, but the anti-piracy thing is there because when you copy the disc, it goes with it on a straight copy. Most pirates just rip the movie and ignore everything else anyways.

The reason movie prices went up in the beginning was because they had to refit theater's to have handicap access and such. I don't know why they are still going up. Probably because of the technology involved in them these days.
