RSS
"I am not too excited for this, but I will give it a chance." Those were my exact words earlier today in regards to "One More Day," the new storyline running through all the Spider-Man books. Now, the reason I greeted this with some trepidation is because, like a lot of people, I did not like "The Other" -- the last multi-title crossover involving Spider-Man. It was clumsy, overly long, didn't really change the character and has seemingly been forgotten by Marvel. Since then, Peter's life has changed a lot, and Amazing Spider-Man has been a tremendous book since the beginning of Civil War. So I was willing to grab this arc to see if Marvel could get it right this time. Stavros
I liked the book but I realised as soon as he put it on that Peter was wearing the wrong costume. Why didn't they have the balls to stick with the black one? In storyline its only a few days since he put the damn thing on to avenge May's shooting and I don't exactly see the current storyline as somethig that it lightening the mood. The Spider-books are a mess of continuity. JMS has had a long and patchy run on the main book, hopefully they can get a good name to take over such as Kirkman. He brings the tragedy and the humour. Most of all right now I'm waiting on the resolution of the seeds set during the 3 mysterios storyline. Quentin Beck is back and half his head is missing- how is that not a bigger deal? Lets keep Spidey clear of the big storylines for a while and let him deal with his rogues.
Missy
Joe Quesada wanted to draw the classic costume, that's why he's not in black. And after "One More Day" both Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and Spectacular Spider-Man will be canceled. In their place, Amazing will be published "thrice-monthly." The creative teams of the thrice-monthly Amazing will be: - Dan Slott and Steve McNiven - Bob Gale and Phil Jiminez - Marc Guggenheim and Salvador Larroca - Zeb Wells and Chris Bachalo

JackFetch
They just ruined the whole Back in Black storyline by having him go back to the classic costume. They at least should explain why he changed back while May is still dying.
tglancy
It seems simple to me. He was wearing the black one to strike fear and get revenge. He got his revenge, he proved his point, now it is about helping May.
