Dread
"Wrote for Roger Corman" can officially go on my resume now, right?

Rjoyadet
Today I went to the university gym. Over there I complemented a man on his arm tattoo. I may have been the only one to recognize the letters were Kryptonian.
Dan
Found this in the letters pages of an old DC Comics Presents:
slothian
Say Dan, have you seen the front page of the Boston Metro today?
Dan
Holy crap! So, if I'm reading this correctly... Adham Fisher was in front of my house yesterday.

James D.
The question is--should you be thinking, "Hey, that's pretty cool!" Or..."Oh, god..."
Dread
I clicked the link and saw a dog in a sweater...
Dread
Ah! I hate that ad shit. I saw the cover. Good for Adham, but Spike Lee does not look pleased about it all.
Dan
The question is--should you be thinking, "Hey, that's pretty cool!" Or..."Oh, god..." Honestly, a little of both. And yes, the B train of the Green Line (which is the line I live on) is the worst. I will walk several blocks to get on the C train rather than step on the train which is literally outside my front door.
slothian
I was in mid-conversation with The Fisher when I posted that. Apparently he was in Boston for two nights after a week in Undisclosed, North America (I'd guess Winnipeg), and was put up by the parents of the 13 year old boy who bunked off school to travel with him. Then the day after, the boy told his class all about it in show and tell to the admiration of colleagues and teachers alike. The whole thing is so ludicrous that it has to be true. Venneh
Go here, and input the Konami code, except instead of pressing enter at the end, just keep pressing A. Don't spoil it, but it should brighten up your day.
Missy
Brilliant! I enjoy it when geeky sites, such as Google and Cracked, do stuff like that. But when designers put that into "upscale" sites, it's even funnier because you know they only did it because they were bored whilst designing for fucking Vogue. SuaveStar
So, according to my Facebook, a lot of you had a more interesting Sunday than me
JackFetch
I thought it would be funny to make a Christmas card spoofing Die Hard and inadvertently started a new Christmas tradition. Also:
Professor
Stopped by Goodwill on the way home today. And now I own 50 versions of Trivial Pursuit. What amazes me is that I have been able to buy all of them in three thrift stores for roughly a dollar each, and, outside of a handful of pie pieces, I am only missing two cards. I even found the 14kt gold overlay pieces. I never expected this when I started this as a bit of a joke.
JackFetch
Thrift stores are a good way to get things worth money for cheap. Some of the old board games from the 80s go for hundreds but they sell for 1 or 2 bucks.
