Koete
Warner will launch a new Lord of the Rings game in November and a Hobbit title in 2012 before Peter Jackson's movie "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" comes out that December. The game is one of the studio's top releases for next year, along with a Lego Batman sequel and a game featuring a superhero from Warner's DC Comics unit that Tremblay wouldn't name. The company also is targeting younger players with a second Lego Harry Potter in November and casual online games based on Warner characters being made at a new development studio in Montreal. Christopher_America
The following is making me more excited, as posted by another site, it confirms Lex Luthor and Joker as the villains: Warner Bros. Interactive has officially announced LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. The set was revealed by images inside LEGO toy sets last month, but WB has now confirmed that the game is set to be released later this year. According to WB, "In LEGO Batman 2, the Dynamic Duo of Batman and Robin join other famous super heroes from the DC Universe including Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern to save Gotham City from destruction at the hands of the notorious villains Lex Luthor and the Joker." "LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes further extends and combines both the Batman and LEGO videogame experiences to create very fun gameplay," said Samantha Ryan, SVP of Development and Production at WB. "Fans of all ages are going to enjoy the action and light hearted humor that TT Games and LEGO provide." The original LEGO Batman has sold over eleven million units across all platforms. LEGO Batman 2 will be released on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC, DS, 3DS and Vita in Summer 2012.
