MaxPower
Hahaha, nice pic, made me laugh. Maybe I should borrow my friends telescope. I've got to make sure my stupid pride doesn't get in the way and just let people help me!

Garfield
It's really annoying when you not only don't know when, but where you're going to be working for a week.

dc20willsave
Oh, you're a diehard Reds fan? That's great but its not an excuse for when you say you're taking a 15 minute break then come back 30 minutes later. You're being paid to work, not Fucking watch the Reds game. Oh, its the last inning, boohoo.
Kscriv
In the playoffs, in a deciding game. Times like this where I love the setup of my office, if the Jets made the playoffs every screen in the building (including the ones normally showing our company stats) would be showing the games. SuaveStar
Well, that sudden realisation of something, wasn't really what I wanted, or needed now.

Missy
Ouch! The most I ever took at once was two, and that was brutal.
Venneh
So, the department I'm working at is currently undergoing reaccreditation. Brilliantly, less than a month before everything is due (and right before everyone was out for a week for a big national conference), our readers found something that we need to fix, that's fairly huge. This means going through several hundred pages of documents and changing every little bit of it. And the brilliant part of this is that due to the circumstances around the changeover in my office, I apparently don't have the latest copy of some very important documents that I already did work on denoting where changes will need to be made. So, now I have to throw out a week's worth of work on several hundred pages of documents and hope that all these faculty kept word copies of these and get all the changes made by, oh, the Monday or so after Thanksgiving. If I make it this next week without exploding into a ball of rage, I will count it a miracle.

Missy
Good for you, Preston! Stay safe over these next two weeks. I know big-box store security, especially round the holidays, can get rough.
KnightWing
And after a long talk with my wife, I have submitted my two week's notice. Major props, man. I'm sure you can find a helluva better job elsewhere.

I'm working a job I hate during the craziest time of year and I have almost zero incentive not to just start, like, crippling motherfuckers. What could possibly go wrong? dc20willsave
Good to hear Preston. Good luck with everything and make sure to relish every moment of begging that you get over the next two weeks from management to stay.
