Throw on the headphones and cleanse the soul a bit. I went 5 steps outside the gate before I turned around and went back, the temperature with the windchill is -36 Celsius (-33 F). I have the Cosby Show Complete Series and all throughout seasons 1 & 2 there was a play all option on each disc then I get to season 3 and it's a select each episode with no play all option. This pisses me off because every time an episode ends it takes you back to the selection screen and everything. :fight: I hope that they fucking changed it back for seasons 4-9 damnit..... I'll soon find out and probably vent about that then too. There needs to be a Play All button on any compilation disc. Sometimes I just like to veg and power through seasons in order. Dread Posted December 11, 2008 Report Share Posted December 11, 2008 Dad checked himself out. He was in the ER for several days because there were no beds and couldn't take the noise. He can at least sleep right now so that's good. He's on a terribly nasty round of antibiotics for another week and has to meet the specialist in late January (seems like it's a ways away). He's on a diet of foods he can see through for another week (tea, chicken broth, jello) and his white blood cells are up which means he's beating or has beaten the infection. They are bringing up all the incidents that I've been in over the last 5 fucking years but they're not looking at what kind of live in resident I am. Well basically the short story is that we have clients that are special needs young adults 18-25..... we give them an apartment to rent at HUD costs which is way less than what a normal person would pay. I am the live in resident which is basically an after hours apartment manager type thing. Apparently a lot of the clients recently have been complaining about the way I give them advice/instructions etc etc..... At the other apartment building is the same job as I do now but the person that they have there they want to get rid of him.... So they're offering it to me which is no salary but rent free. Regardless of that I have my apartment now the way I want it... It's painted and everything. The apartment that they're offering me is two times smaller then the one I'm in now. They are all 1 bedrooms but the floorplan is smaller at the other site. They are not looking at all the good deeds I've done in this job they are only looking at the negative. Hell when I was dealing with a situation a few years ago I got fucking stabbed in the arm and needed fifteen goddamn stitches.... I got no wormans comp or any time off. Another incident was there was someone trying to enter the building behind someone else and all I asked him was who was he and whom was he going to visit his response was man I'm tired of you harrassing me and he hauls off and uppervuts me in the face. I landed 5 feet from the front door after this guy hit me. Do I have a brash attitude? yes sometimes.....do I not say the things I need to say in the right tone of voice? sometimes yea sure. But these employers are just out to fucking get me.... my thing is fine they can take the goddamn job if they want but I don't want to lose the apartment... I have nowhere else to live. The other thing is in the overnights and weekends most of the time I am doing the building supervisors job and need to make split second decisions on everything. yea I can call my boss that I work with directly but he'll usually say well handle it the best you can and that's it. I'm soooooo fucking upset and pissed right now. I'm probably gonna go in the bedroom close the fucking door and just sleep from right now until I dunno when..... I have zero interest in this, though she mentioned this new guy that she's been with for the past month, and how he's the love of her life. Of course, this means her huge emotional break down in which she made me feel like a total piece of shit for turning her down was a total sham because she was banging (at least) one other guy at the exact same time. Women are freaking impossible. The ones I want are taken, and the ones available to me are all seemingly promiscuous psychos. My conundrum is that I'm looking for a girl that is smart and normal, but any girl like that is too smart or normal to be with a dude like me. There's this saying, I don't know where I heard it, maybe it's from a comedian, maybe I just made it up in my head and assumed someone else said it before, but it sums up my love life pretty well.
