Guest
Helalyn Flowers - Sort of a new eave electro Punk with some pop sensibilities. Good stuff. I:Scintilla - Driving metal electronica that's fucking catchy as hell. Helps that the singer is absurdly hot too.
Venneh
Currently listening to my most Recently Added on shuffle, which currently includes - Random's Black Materia sampler, the Social Network soundtrack, Gaelic Storm's "Nancy Whiskey", the Dropkick Murphies Wisconsin protests song, that one awesome song from the third class party in Titanic, and "Just Dropped In", aka the song playing under the Gutterballs hallucination sequence from Big Lebowski. Just a bit surreal.
Venneh
Shameless promotion of a friend's new band, Sparklefuck. Their Facebook page, with their first single on it, "Murdercastle" (Dubs, this band has the hot chick with blue hair in it, though it is now jungle green. There are photos.) Aaron Robinson
I would listen to a band named Sparklefuck.
Guest
Currently listening nonstop to Lovage's "Music to Make Love to Your Old Lady By". I would give myself to Jennifer Charles if I thought there was a chance she would have me.

James D.
Mike Starr, original bassist for Alice in Chains, was found dead an hour ago. RIP. I was just coming in here to post about it. I can't say I'm shocked, really. The guy was a drug addict and an alcoholic who never could get his life together for long periods of time. It is sad, though. The band remained friends with him even after he left them in 1993. R.I.P.
Guest
Hollywood Undead has already turned into Linkin Park. It only took them a year to lose their balls, which has got to be a new record.
Dread
See, I've never been a fan of their hooks. Like their rapping still. I listened to Scarlett Johansson's Tom Waits cover album today. The biggest mixture of "bonertime" and "i need a drink" in the history of music.
Guest
I want this to play whenever I enter a room.
Venneh
So, NPR has the entire Book of Mormon musical soundtrack up for listening. For free. You should go listen.
dc20willsave
I ended up getting Lady Gaga's new ablum in the mail today, a day and a half ahead of time. Overall, it's not quite as good as The Fame Monster but still a pretty good album with some great tracks on it.
Molly
The Book of Mormon soundtrack: How in the fuck have I missed this in my life? The actor in me wants to play Elder Cunningham enough to give up a testicle.
Venneh
Dude, I linked you to that a month ago. Favorite songs? I'm a fan of "Spooky Mormon Hell Dream", "Tomorrow is a Latter Day", "Hasa Diga Eebowai", and "Man Up".
dc20willsave
Preston, I would give at least 10 bucks to see you play Elder Cunningham.
Venneh
I'm pretty sure that Josh Gad had said he had absolutely no singing experience and can't dance to save his damn life. TO BROADWAY WITH YOU! Or at least the touring cast.
Molly
I fear for the first time ever that I'm too thin, too handsome and too vocally well trained for a role.
