Dan
According to the press release, they come out in March. Ooh! There's doing a Weeping Angel and a Clockwork Man!
Missy
Oh man! The only one I don't want is the Scarecrow / Pyrovile two-pack. Well, I don't want the Slitheen either, but it comes with the Weeping Angel, so I'm stuck with it.
SuaveStar
Figure sets for a more detailed look at the figures, their £6.99 Going to post the pics if I can.
Dan
What's weird is that there's no mention of him, but there's clearly a picture of Lil' Davros on the Action Figure page.
SuaveStar
I like the cyberman one. The red dalek as well. Two packs are £4.99 at forbidden planet, and the five pack £9.99.

Guest
Going through past clips, tributes, documentaries, whatever little things I can get my hands on, I think I've already made the decision that the Third Doctor is going to be my least favorite. Granted, this is purely a gut instinct since I've seen zero full episodes from his era, but I just don't like the idea of the grounded James Bond Doctor. It doesn't help that he looks like a lanky Rod Stewart doing kung fu and having car chases. What's everyone's general opinion on him? Dan
I know Mike disagrees, but he's probably my least favorite as well, largely for the reasons you mention. With that said, his first season is very good. His opener, Spearhead from Space, is a lot of fun, and Inferno is on my all time top ten list. Dan
What I meant to say was, I love Pertwee. Old man kung fu? Now that's entertainment.

I don't mind Pertwee so much as I didn't care for Colin Baker, he was a bit too goofy for my tastes, but his companion well, Mike might agree with this as he's the dirty-minded guy of the WFP duo. Peri, you can knock on my door anytime. Pertwee made the Doctor more humble I think. Even Time Lords need to be humbled.
Dan
"Humble" is most assuredly not the word I associate with Pertwee.
Mistah J
"Humble" is most assuredly not the word I associate with Pertwee. Pertwee as a person no, but The Doctor was taught a lesson. Never piss off the Council. Also he gained a good friend in the Brigadier.
Missy
John Barrowman and his sister are going to write a Torchwood comic strip.
Mylandro
Those new figures look terribly childish... which is probably the point as they're aimed at the kids. I like the cyberman one. The red dalek as well. Trust you, suavestar! It is red... BTW, is there a thread for people's Doctor Who DVD collections?
SuaveStar
BTW, is there a thread for people's Doctor Who DVD collections? You have three options, post in here, make a new thread in bigger on the inside, in continuity order, or post in DVD aquisitions. or just make a new TV thread. Guest
Watching Strangers in Space. You can tell that Hartnell was a theatre actor. The way he projects and moves seem made for the stage. Early on Hartnell completely butchers a line and no one is able to hold in their laughter. It's quite the moment.
Dan
Heh. Yeah. he does that a lot. They eventually had to write it into the character. You get used to it pretty quick.
