Puckydream
This weeks episode just felt too much like an episode of Goosebumps too me.
KnightWing
I liked it alright. Nothing super-special, but it was enjoyable.
Missy
Now that is Doctor Who. Well done Mark Gatiss.
Mull
2 things popped up similar to last weeks episode, something else put in a cupboard and another reference to something being bigger on the inside, not sure if its leading to anything but just stood out to me while watching
bobobob_100
i just found it boring probably cause the preview from it we got it looked scary then ended up being a writer working out his own daddy issues not saying thats a bad thing but i wasnt expecting that two outa five
dc20willsave
I dunno. I liked parts of the episode but, over all, I had times where I just felt myself thinking, "Is it over yet?"
KnightWing
Yeah, thinking over it more, I don't think I'll want to watch that episode ever again.
Koete
I really don't understand all the dislike for this episode. Then again, I was in the minority last week too.
Venneh
Something in the writing just fell flat for me. It wasn't awful, but it didn't impress me, either.
SuaveStar
Something in the writing just fell flat for me. It wasn't awful, but it didn't impress me, either. It just wrapped up to nicely. When it reached the ending, everything was sorted, and nobody died, the people who were turned into dolls/killed were all alright, and had no recollection of the time in the doll house. It just went along, and then came to a nice "Everyone be happy!" conclusion, and the child thing was just a strange "Solve the problem with love" situation. Puckydream
I think maybe if I had more of a fear of dolls that might have increased the tension, but they just looked like a poor mans Clockwork Robot.

Stavros
That's an episodes of Spinger waiting to happen. "It's not yours...it's not even mine"
Puckydream
Here's a page of Dalek comics my wife came across. http://tiffanysinnerthoughts.wordpress.com/2011/09/06/dalek-comics-doctor-who/ Kind of hit and miss... just like the Dalek's aim! (Badadadish!)
SuaveStar
Well, that was partly enjoyable, and the other half was just blatantly average. Some nice moments, but not an episode I'm going to go to out of my way to watch again. Edited September 10, 2011 by SuaveStar
slothian
I hate having to go out of my watch for anything.... Again, I was very absorbed by this episode - probably the strongest that Karen Gillan's been in the past 2 years, although it helps that the episode revolves around Amy. Not the easiest one to watch, but certainly above average.

Venneh
Brief frustration. They're really hammering the Girl Who Waited thing, and it's really starting to grate on me. And hehe. Macarena.
Koete
In many ways, "The Girl Who Waited" is a companion piece to last season's "Amy's Choice," which is a good thing as I loved it just as much if not more.
Puckydream
Not too bad of an episode. Asked some tough questions. No one really have to answer them, but overall not that bad. The thing is, 1,000 years is quite a bit longer than 36 years. Rory should have tossed that in her face.

I was thinking that too. "You're whining over a few decades? I spent eighteen centuries as a plastic soldier doing nothing but protecting you, because I love you." damndirtyape
Really enjoyed this one. Nice simple idea but a good solid script that brought out the best in Karen.
