Dan
The minds behind Outpost Gallifrey and the Chicago TARDIS conventions are publishing a new book about Doctor Who fandom in the USA and are looking for stories. They have a survey they're using to collect information. American fans only, please.
Koete
According to Bleeding Cool, according to people at Doctor Who Magazine, the seventh series won't start until Autumn 2012.

JasonC
The Complete Sixth Series is up for pre-order at Amazon. That's not even up on Amazon UK yet!
slothian
A very nice change of pace and, once again, Doctor Who has made me sit through 45 minutes of James Corden. The guys is clearly a solid actor, but he's a wretched, wretched comedic figure. Not flawless, but I don't see any of the flaws being particular major or enjoyment-sapping. Also Stormaggeddon is a kick-arse baby name!
Venneh
Cute episode, and I agree with Ian, but for pets, personally. Yeah, kind of called that last five minutes.
Dan
Pretty lightweight episode, but not unenjoyable. It feels odd that the penultimate episode of the series is so (seemingly, anyway) inconsequential. But James Corden was fun, and it was a fairly decent romp. And fuck yeah, Stormageddon! Koete
That was a lot of fun and full of heart as well. The very end is different enough in tone that it kind of shocks you into the finale.
Dan
That was a lot of fun and full of heart as well. Agreed, but I have to admit...when James Corden defeated the Cybermen with the power of love, I pretty much looked at the screen and thought, "Yep. That actually just happened." Koete
Agreed, but I have to admit...when James Corden defeated the Cybermen with the power of love, I pretty much looked at the screen and thought, "Yep. That actually just happened." That's true, but I think The Doctor beginning to scientifically explain it subverted that a bit. Not a lot, mind you, but a bit all the same. And the scene where The Doctor talked to Stormageddon about his life and Storm's future was so well done that I can forgive them a sappy conclusion to the Cybermen plot. Venneh
Dude, did you guys not watch Captain Planet, Heart was always the most powerful power. (In other news, I'm halfway through a six pack.)
SuaveStar
I thought the opening fifteen minutes was great, and the last ten minutes was really well done. It's just the actual story that was incredibly boring. The baby was awesome, but yeah, not an episode I'll be watching again. Edit:
dc20willsave
Watching the end of the episode, I'm almost thinking the Doctor's Death will be solved in the first few minutes with all the crazy that happens afterwards being a result of breaking a fixed point in time. As for the eyepatches, I'm thinking they somehow let you see The Silents without forgetting about them. Overall, I enjoyed the episode. It had a few points of funny but yeah, it's definitely not a heavy episode and a proper breather.
Stavros
Anyone else wince at the literal babychest in this episode? I was going to let them get away with it because it was the baby's idea, but what sort of parent takes his baby's advice when going into a hazardous situation? Apparently Huey Lewis forgot to mention that the power of love also extends to overcoming cyberman control.
Missy
Ooooohhhh! I like both points, Will! And yeah, I thought the excuse to bring Stormageddon into the fray was weak.
Stavros
Also this- (It's the Doctor Who parody from Community)
Koete
Love it. Also, Stormageddon achieved meme status the same day the episode aired.
KnightWing
I thought the excuse to bring Stormageddon into the fray was weak. I was going to agree until I started giggling at the name Stormageddon.

damndirtyape
This was a really cheap excuse to use the cybermen for no reason and that cybermat was terrible. This episode offered nothing for me except the always great perfomance of Mat. He continues to do great work even if the story and script are weak.
