Venneh
Why hello thar. ...So how long do we have to wait to see her in a leather suit - I mean, Tony Stark and what not in the theatres again?
Stavros
May 7th for you guys, April 30th for us. Sometimes being in the UK pays off, this is revenge for me having to wait MONTHS for Up to start showing over here.

JackFetch
If that's the final look of the costume it makes no sense. There's no armor so you just shoot him in the body to stop him.
Venneh
I think the logic is assuming you're able to get through the whips? What's left vulnerable (part of the arms that are hard to reach, parts of the stomach) aren't exactly the first things you'd try to shoot at. Guest
Yeah, if you overdo the armor, it's going to compromise mobility. The implication is that he'd be able to deflect anything coming at him.
Dread
Or that the lashes and bands create an electromagnetic shield around his body. It's entirely easy enough to write in. As long as he isn't wearing orange and purple, I'll be fine.
Molly
I dunno, man. I'd pay good money to see Mickey Rourke in that.
Guest
If he's not in purple, it ain't The Whiplash.
Dread
Seriously, this movie could be a musical featuring Ed Asner as Iron Man and Phyllis Diller as Whiplash as long as Scarlett is wearing that outfit.
Molly
Ed Asner as Iron Man would be the greatest coup ever. Though, all he'd do is bitch about how rich and evil Tony Stark is the whole time.

Delete
Iron Man has a pretty shit group of villains doesn't he?
Guest
The main problem with Iron Man's rogues gallery is that almost all of them are just guys in competing suits of armor. The only unique ones are those that would never work in a movie, like Fin Fang Foom. I'm really kind of wondering why they haven't used the Mandarin yet, but apparently something's up with him. Stavros
Iron Man has a pretty shit group of villains doesn't he? Yup. Even the Mandarin is over-rated a bit, or he was until the recent update. I'd like to see the Controller used in some fashion, even if he was just used as a Mandarin henchman. The idea of one villain controlling an unknown, possibly massive number of human subjects is quite cool, and pretty fresh to comic book films. Plus the twists as Tony's associates are taken over resulting in the military hunting Iron Man and his own corporation being taken over, you could make a pretty cool story out of that. Stavros
Awesome! Although I'd have like the end reveal to have been accompanies by Kiss's War Machine.
