James D.
I'm putting this here because I haven't finished listening to 85-86..... I know you guys wanna finish by the target date you set. However wouldn't it be awesome to finish on the date you started the show 4/25? April 25th, 2011 is a Monday, though... Missy
Glenn Shadix has passed away. Though he was best known as Otho from Beetlejuice, we DCAU fans will remember him as Monsieur Mallah and The Brain from Teen Titans and Mandragora from the JLU episode "Double Date." dc20willsave
That blows. He was also the Mayor in Nightmare Before Christmas and the priest in Heathers. Yes Glenn. I blame the MTV video games also. *sad face*
James D.
He was the half-brother of one of my mom's fellow teachers at her middle school. I was really sad to hear about him dying. Definitely one of my favorite voice actors.
Kscriv
For those that need their fix NOW NOW NOW of Mike talking about the next batch of episodes. I refer you to Earth-2.net: The Show Episode 12. Looking forward to see how the review styles and opinions changed from then to now.

I've heard that, and it was interesting to hear his opinion of the episodes so long before World's Finest began. I have my own thoughts about the last episode of Teen Titans, but I'll let that wait until the next episode posts.

Koete
I FINALLY saw my first JLU episode and it wasn't great, but certainly not bad. There were too many moments of comedy in this one for me to stomach. I mean, Circe making Batman sing a LOVE SONG??????????? WTF. Reading through these, it's going to be really interesting to compare with the opinions of the Mike and James of six years later.
Kscriv
Hell it's hilarious just seeing how some of us wrote back then. For the love of God I was only 16 years old then. James, care to explain your choice of words in describing your excitement for the first season of JLU?
KnightWing
Saturday's episode bored me to tears. Seriously, who gives a flying fuck about Booster Gold??? Why dedicate an entire episode to a guy no one knows or cares about? 2004-era James would have severely irritated 2004-era KnightWing. Koete
Would 2004-era Knightwing's username be Booster Gold?
KnightWing
2004-era KnightWing's username was Nightwing. The Booster Gold episode was always one of my favorites. Never knew anything of the character before then, but became a big fan afterward.
James D.
Fuck Booster Gold. And fuck me, I was such an annoying fanboy six years ago. "This Little Piggy" is awesome, and I have no idea what I was thinking back then.
You Know Who
Booster Gold may be annoying, but he's a fucking legend compared to Hawk and Dove. Why did we have to have an episode devoted them?
KnightWing
I think you can make a kickass Hawk & Dove episode. That episode just wasn't very good.

KnightWing
Give it more depth and better action. And less preachy.
You Know Who
Give it more depth and better action. And less preachy. I'd like to see a Hawk and Dove episode on Batman: Brave and the Bold. That show does an awesome job making strong stories for C-listers like B'wana Beast and Red Tornado. I'm not sure if they were good episode material to begin with for the more serious JLU, though less preachyness and better action wouldn't have hurt their spotlight episode. KnightWing
Also, having Wonder Woman on her soapbox didn't help anyone.
Guest TFG1Mike
I must say that I'm very happy that Warner Home Video Included the Secret Origin The Story Of DC Comics on Batman Beyond The Complete Series. The main reason why I'm happy about this is because we get slight archival footage of Christopher Reeve talking about Superman when the film was being done. Guest TFG1Mike
Epilogue...... Longest. F'n. Summary. Ever. but such an exclamation point on the DCAU. I mentioned several times while doing The Secret Origins Podcast that I want a cartoon to show the adventures after Destroyer leading up to Epilogue.
