I've gotten a ways into the game now, and it is the best comic book based game ever made. It's like watching an animated movie sometimes. The part with Scarecrow was awesome, and so unexpected. The scenes with the Joker that play out when you die(or just fail) are awesome and different depending on what just happened. The combat is easy, but sometimes hectic. I had some trouble with the Bane fight for instance because he had around ten guys helping him.

Some of the hidden stuff makes absolutely no sense in any kind of lore way. Also, I'm not sure why the moon is ten times bigger than it should be, but it looks cool hanging over downtown Gotham.

The real star of this game is the Joker. Everywhere you go he is taunting you in some hilarious fashion either by tv or over the PA system. I wish they didn't repeat so often, but they are really good. Harley Quinn is awesome also, and way hot in this game. She's running around in a nurse's outfit that looks straight from a porn shop. It is Arleen Sorkin's voice, which makes me really happy. Here is that outfit btw:

Was pretty good. Combat is pretty good, it looks awesome and the voice acting is good. Though if you really stop and think about it you'll find yourself asking questions like "Holy shit how many dead bodies are lying around?" and "How big is this Asylum?", but its some good fun.

My only problem with the game is the boss fights are way too alike, Bane has 10 guys run in and help him, Harely has 10 guys run in and help her, Ivy has 10 guys that run in and help the Joker has 10 guys that run in and help. Just let me fight the fuckers.

Looks like I'll never get to finish the game. It freezes and locks up my console at the same place every time. I looked it up online, and it happens on both consoles but in different places. I'm thoroughly pissed.

What point is that Jack?

It happened to mine at one point, but that was part of the story.

Anyway, just finished the game, and really enjoyed it, now all I'm doing is collectiong the Riddler stuff, which I don't usually do, so far I have 70% finished the stuff.

It happens during the same part, but sometimes during a fight, sometimes after the fight while he's talking to Oracle, and sometimes after he talks to Oracle. It locks up my system to where it has to be restarted.

Easily GOTY. It's even better when you think of all the Batman games before it, and how the gameplay almost homages to that. The feel is perfect. The gadgets are practical without being gimmicky. All the characters are particularly well done and all fit. (I really like Scarecrow's new look). Only thing that was missing were multiple batsuits you could unlock to play through the game again with. I guess that's just a personal nitpick based on Batman Begins (The Video Game).

I played a few more hours tonight.

The moment when Dr. Young opens the wall safe and you can see the green smile, you know she's about to die. Sure enough. It was still really freaky, though. Speaking of freaky, twice tonight I was startled by lunatics attacking me out of fucking nowhere. One fell out of a ventilation shaft!!! WTF?!?!

God, I love this game.

I'm being pedantic, but I'd say

Eternal Darkness is the more apt comparison. It was a survival horror game like Silent Hill, but your characters had a sanity meter that, when drained, made the game play tricks on you. Like having the game “delete your saves” (not really of course) or having your character suddenly start losing their limbs.

Which Scarecrow section are you up to? The third one is by far my favourite.
