Missy
Bryan Danielson is the World Heavyweight Champion?!?! With Punk being the WWE Champion, I might have to start watching WWE programing agan.
Guest
Don't. This PPV is an anomaly. The booking has really been quite horrible across the board.
dc20willsave
This really makes the booking of Danielson that much more baffling if he was going to get the title all along. A heel turn has to be coming. They kinda hinted at it during the PPV. He cashed in his briefcase, they've been playing up the Big Show's support of him in recent weeks leading to this. SuaveStar
Samoa Joe has got to really be hating life right now. He's got to have been hating it ever since that nation of violence/Umaga rip off crap they had him do.

Guest
I was sitting at a red light today when I noticed that the car in front of me had "NATALYA NEIDHART" in giant letters emblazoned across the bumper. In some alternate version of this story, I actually got out of the car and began a line of questioning that I would have surely regretted. Professor
I was randomly thinking about this earlier today. When was the last time a face won the title for the first time in a straight one-on-one match? Punk at MITB wouldn't count as he was a former WHC. Nearest I can figure is Rob Van Dam at One Night Stand in 06. Did I miss anything?
Guest
Yeah, RVD would be the last one.
Aaron Robinson
Y'know, I think I actually like every one of these guys.
dc20willsave
With the exception of the tag team champs, I totally agree.
Aaron Robinson
I really like Evan Bourne and I'm indifferent to Kofi, so it balances out.
dc20willsave
Raw is in Chicago tonight. This should be a good crowd.
SuaveStar
So, is it just me, or was Raw just a step off being a good show? I can't wait to see Ziggler VS Punk next week, and Johnny Ace is just getting more and more enjoyable as his role as Punk's nemesis right now. But overall, it was just missing something. dc20willsave
For me, it was going great except they had to cut the Punk match short so they could introduce Kane's angle as Zarm from Captain Planet and Cena being a Care Bear. JackFetch
Can't wait to see Brock tap to the STF I think you mean you can't wait to watch Brock be Undertaker's number 20 at WrestleMania.
Stavros
No point in bringing in Brock this year for two reasons- Taker's opponent has been know for months now internally, Brock only just because available, and even then questionably since he's still under UFC contract. Secondly the fee he'd command is substantial but the gain ffrom him would be minimal because they've already got The Rock there. No point in booking them both on the same show. SuaveStar
Loved Jericho's comeback. He just came out, and soaked up all the cheers, then left like nothing happened, without saying a word. Everything else on Raw was pretty bloody awful.
JackFetch
Just like last time, Jericho had weeks of cryptic videos that had nothing to do with his character. What was the point of the creepy kids saying creepy things when Jericho is just a normal guy?
Stavros
Jericho is doing a parody of a wrestling return, the anonymous creepy videos, the overblown celebration on his return etc. It's quite interesting to see where he's going to take it. Christopher_America
Jericho showed how quickly and easily it is to become a heel. He came out to cheers. He left to boos. Not saying a single word was the best thing or him to do.
dc20willsave
Welcome to the boards and I totally agree. I kinda like this angle of self parody.
