James D.
What are everyone's favorite boss themes in video games? Of course, I'm obliged to say all three boss themes in Xenogears--"Knight of Fire", "Awakening", and "The One Who Bares Fangs at God". But I also love "Enemy Attack" and "Decisive Battle" in Final Fantasy X. "Decisive Battle" is actually a song I'd like to learn how to play on the piano. Guest
I'll always have Chrono Cross' "Edge of Death" stuck in my head, but the music that plays ("People Imprisoned by Time") when you fight Miguel makes it the saddest goddamn fight ever, not to mention the fact that you don't WANT to fight him. Probably my favorite scene in that whole game. "Dead Fingers Talk" from Shadow Hearts is creepy as all hell. "The Opened Way" from Shadow of the Colossus. Pretty much everything from Mega Man 2 and Mega Man X, if you want to count those as "boss" themes.
James D.
Kingdom Hearts II has a good selection of boss themes, too. "Dance to the Death" "Vim and Vigor" "The Encounter" === And lest I forget, the boss theme by which all others are measured: One-Winged Angel. Guest
It's a really underrated series of games. X, X2, and X5 are the best of the bunch. One Winged Angel is so damn overrated at this point. Jenova was better.

See "One-Winged Angel" performed live by a professional orchestra and chorus you'll think differently.
Kscriv
One-Winged Angel Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Death Egg Zone Act 2. Boss Fight vs. Jedah, Darkstalkers
Shingen
Boss Fight vs. Jedah, Darkstalkers 3 Ah, "Fetus of God". That stage is just plain freaky. Personally, I'd have to say my top 3 are: "Brave or Grave" - Street Fighter Zero/Alpha 3, Vega/M.Bison (Dictator) stage "Yell 'Dead Cell'" - Metal Gear Solid 2, Plant Chapter The boss theme of the break game from Mario Paint.
