Dan
If it's PG-13, they're doing it wrong.
Koete
Well if Mr. Mind's in it, it's going to be NC-17.

Missy
What would be critical to a Shazam movie would be casting an adult who, despite looking like an adult, can still convey being a kid. Captain Marvel on Young Justice is the perfect example of what this should be.

Dan
Wizard Magazine suggested him for Cap in one of their "dream movie cast" articles they were always doing in the 90s, back when all he was known for was Puddy. To this day I can't imagine anyone else.

Dan
H. Jon Benjamin as the voice of Mister Tawky Tawny. ... all right, someone call Warner Bros. We got this.
Dan
Now CBR speculates (among other things) that if DC is cranking out Shazam! and Wonder Woman for 2016, Marvel may be trying to beat them both to the punch by getting Captain Marvel out sooner rather than later, in order to be the first Captain Marvel movie as well as the first superhero movie featuring a female lead character. Which sounds like a thing they would do.
Stavros
Previously I stated that this wasn't likely to be a bubble but DC kicking into a similar gear to Marvel will probably hurt the genre more than anything. I think properties established prior to 2015 have the best chance but all bets are off after that, we're just waiting for one side or the other (probably DC) to make the next John Carter. Dan
Dwayne Johnson has come as close as possible to announcing that he's playing Shazam without actually saying the words "I'm playing Shazam".
KnightWing
Well, if he said Shazam he would transform back into Billy Batson on the spot, and that would just be embarrassing.

Molly
Newsarama has thrown out the idea that The Rock would actually be playing both Shazam and Black Adam. It's wild speculation, but I actually really, really love that idea.
Missy
While it could be a great idea, the fight scenes would have to be shot very carefully or all / mostly CGI. I'm not a fan of either option.
JackFetch
There is a documentary coming about the Nic Cage Superman movie that never happened. http://youtu.be/Nt9fxWq5qg0
JasonC
The trailer has achieved the impossible: I am now disappointed that we never got to see the epic trainwreck this movie would have been.
Dread
I'd watch that documentary, but then I'd have to sit through Kevin Smith talking without punching my TV.
Gareth
Looks pretty amateurish to me and the sound really needs some work, I couldn't hear half the things that were said. But otherwise interesting project.

Venneh
I'm interested that they're willing to move their tentpole all the way to March rather than have it opposite a Marvel film.

He's officially on board, but has yet to actually confirm if he's Shazam, Black Adam, both, neither, or all of the above.
KnightWing
He literally says he's still deciding which character he wants to play. Which is kind of funny.
