Koete
Look, I like Greg Berlanti; my love of The Flash is well documented. He clearly knows how to make television, but I don't know if his sensibilities will translate well to a movie.
Dread
I'd put good money on it not happening in the next decade.

JackFetch
Rumor: Cyborg movie is under discussion to make a Teen Titans movie instead. How this will work with a Teen Titans tv show in pre-production, I have no idea. Another rumor: Green Lantern Corps is going to be a buddy cop style movie with Hal Jordan and John Stewart being the main characters. Think Lethal Weapon in space. Koete
TNT passed on Teen Titans...BUT, they're rebooting Tales from the Crypt with M. Night Shyamalan, so yay comics.
Donomark
Praise Jebus on them not doing TT. I got the same vibe from that as I did the "Grayson" show, I.E. "this sounds like a really terrible idea". Dodged a bullet me say.

Dread
An event film, even. Is that a "Crisis"? Also, they moved up Wonder Woman a couple weeks, which is amazing news because the closer Gal Gadot gets to being Wonder Woman again, the better I feel. Dan
Word is that WB may be slowing their roll a little bit.
Dread
I think every major studio should. It gives big films the time to breathe and cuts down on blockbuster overload. It might also give room for smaller films to get more showings at chain theaters.

dc20willsave
The context:Well, one new point of difference is make them more grim and gritty, like Hancock or The Dark Knight, which seems to also work in Watchmen’s favor — Everyone says that about [Christopher Nolan’s] Batman Begins. ”Batman’s dark.” I’m like, okay, ”No, Batman’s cool.” He gets to go to a Tibetan monastery and be trained by ninjas. Okay? I want to do that. But he doesn’t, like, get raped in prison. That could happen in my movie. If you want to talk about dark, that’s how that would go. I believe that pop culture is just, like, so ready for Watchmen. We tried so hard to ride that wave between satire and reality, and all the things that make you still care about the character, but you don’t miss the commentary about them.Just saying, it's from an interview about Watchmen. As for the "sexy" quote, he's talking about Frank Frazetta. Just saying, when you want to write an article, it's easy to remove the context to prove your point. dc20willsave
Wentworth Miller, in perhaps one of the most bewildering but awesome arrangements, is now a contracted regular for all of the Berlanti DC shows. (Note, the article does have spoilers for last night's Legends of Tomorrow). What that basically means is that if they want him for The Flash this week, he's there. If he's needed on Legends, bam. Arrow needs a cold shoulder pun? Bingo! Cat Grant needs a iced latte now? Yes Miss Grant! Edited May 13, 2016 by dc20willsave
Koete
I am bewildered but hyped that Wentworth Miller's Captain Cold is the glue of DC television.
