KnightWing
If he could actually be in a movie that doesn't suck terribly, he could be a movie star. But he seems to have pretty terrible luck.
Stavros
If Deadpool had been launched properly off Wolverine he'd be doing better. That's a role build for a guy with gab like him.
JackFetch
He can always go back to making rom-coms, where success is not based on 100 million dollar openings. Also, Safe House was a good action movie that he was in. He can do it when the source isn't terrible.
KnightWing
It seems like with a lot of his "bad" movies (Green Lantern, RIPD, etc), people always cite Reynolds as a bright spot in the midst of crap.
MaxPower
I thought he's been pretty decent in the comedy/action stuff. I may be alone, but I thought he was good in Blade. Not saying the character was amazing, but his performance was good. Same for him in Smokin Aces.
SuaveStar
It seems like with a lot of his "bad" movies (Green Lantern, RIPD, etc), people always cite Reynolds as a bright spot in the midst of crap. He always does his best, but the problem is, a film with a terrible script, will always be a terrible film, no matter how hard the actors try to make it work. Kenny Evil
If Deadpool had been launched properly off Wolverine he'd be doing better. That's a role build for a guy with gab like him. Right. I will never understand the insanity of having Deadpool in a film and sewing his mouth shut. It's the equivalent of having an Iron man film where Tony Stark has no access to high tech. JackFetch
WB is about to shift to a DC heavy slate. "I think the basis, foundation of those 12 to 14 pictures are going to be coming from DC Entertainment. "We have Batman Vs. Superman coming out in 2015, but there are going to be in the coming months a lot of announcements regarding the future movie, television, games and consumer product pieces that are going to be coming from DC... DC really does touch a lot of parts of our business and is an important part of the strategy in how we are going to grow going forward." http://comicbook.com/blog/2013/09/16/dc-comics-movies-are-going-to-be-foundation-of-warner-bros-pictures-going-forward/

KnightWing
If the actual article is to be believed, EVERYONE has been misreading that quote. In regards to the 12 to 14 pictures that Warner Bros. will be releasing a year, Tsujihara said, “ I think the basis, foundation of those 12 to 14 pictures are going to be coming from DC Entertainment.” The actual quote is saying that DC will be at the core of WB's entire 12-to-14-film slate every year for a while. Not that we're actually getting 12-to-14 DC movies.
Dread
I agree with Knightwing - whince! - because it sounds more like 2 or 3 movies.

JasonC
Constantine is British. Cast a british actor, there are loads in Hollywood these days. If you can tear Mark Strong away from Low Winter Sun, cast him.

slothian
If I was casting a blonde haired Liverpudlian for the role, Mark Stong isn't the first person I'd think of. I'm not saying Constantine has to be physiologically accurate to his textual origins - I thought Kanoe was fine in the role - but it'd be nice to see.
