RSS
Ill-fated time travel, the politics of superheroes and the aftermath of world domination are the themes this week as Dan and Mike speak about Booster Gold: Blue and Gold, Civil War and Empire. Dan
It took me a second to figure out why the banner loooked off. Nice.

Koete
I enjoyed Blue and Gold quite a bit. I thought it was hilarious for them to tie in Booster Gold to Zero Hour and Final Crisis. Mr. Mind showing up was unexpected and great. I don't think you talked about it on the show, but what did you guys think of Rip being Booster's son? I thought it was a good twist. Missy
I don't think you talked about it on the show, but what did you guys think of Rip being Booster's son? I thought it was a good twist. We started to talk about it, but neither of us know enough about the character to have it matter. So I edited that portion out. Stavros
Picked up Empire in the bargain trade section of my comics shop for 99p. It was fun, perhaps not quite what you guys made of it but certainly worth my money at that price. I'm a fan of the Waid/Kitson Legion so I pretty much knew what to expect, but the promise of the premise was never quite fulfilled in the way I expect these high concept comics to be. Dan
Hey, we needed something to take our minds off the war in the Pacific Theater.
