JackFetch
Showtime is developing an hourlong project from comic book icon Stan Lee that tracks the life of a gay superhero, says The Hollywood Reporter. The project is being executive produced by Lee and the president and CEO of his Pow! Entertainment banner, Gill Champion. The story, which focuses on an up-and-coming superhero who struggles to hide his secret identities, is based on the book "Hero" by Perry Moore. Moore is writing the script and also executive producing along with Hunter Hill. http://www.superherohype.com/news/topnews.php?id=7812 It's strange to me that the headline has to mention it's about a gay superhero and not that it's a book adaption. It's an established book, so why sensationalize that part?
