RSS
Someone recently celebrated her 30th birthday, and she's here to talk about it. Also, Ian pops in with his thoughts about Hellboy and Hellboy II: The Golden Army. Stavros
Wait, it was Jenny's birthday? Happy Birthday Jenny!
Missy
Yup, her birthday is 23 November. I tried getting her on earlier for the recap, but between conflicting schedules and illnesses, this was the soonest we could discuss it. Guest
Alright. Two things I'm going to need video of immediately. 1) Jenny rapping to Eminem. 2) Mike's rendition of "Welcome to the Jungle". Nice work again from Sloth. Great opening too. Oh, and the wrestler you guys were thinking of was Rhett Titus. Him playing the babyface and Delirious being the heel is one of the many reasons I can't watch ROH anymore. The booking was horrible. Missy
Sorry, no video. But there might be pictures of me singing. I'll ask Jen later.

Dread
I liked the first Hellboy better. That opening sequence in The Golden Army put me off the entire movie. It was like the Robaxacet commercial, as my buddy Darryl put it.

As I don't know what "the Robaxacet commercial" is, I still don't see what's so bad about the opening sequence.
Aaron Robinson
I liked the second one better myself, but that opening sequence was terrible. I just don't think it fits with the rest of the movie.

slothian
Heh, I never tire of puppets! I still don't get the hate - it's just an imagined style to go with the storytelling aspect of the opening, which foreshadows the rest of the film. To each their own though. Molly
I freakin' LOVE the opening to The Golden Army. It's stylized, and you get John Hurt's voice.
