SuaveStar
My short story "Eleventeen" went live today. And I fucking love the art they included, and the intro editor Miracle Jones wrote, and just everything about aligning myself with a lit outfit that sells this. Enjoy. But the accompanying illustration (at least the first one) may be NSFW. I'm listening now. Congratulations.
Nicolette Opal
You know, it should've occurred to me that most of you would opt for that rather than reading it. But that's what the recording is there for, no? And thanks.

But that's what the recording is there for, no? And thanks. Yeah, I was going to read it, but then I saw the toolbar to listen. I have to say that was dark, really creepy, and it felt a little weird, which was awesome, you made the imagery work for me. Will there be anymore from this character? Nicolette Opal
The narrator, Magda, my whole thesis (novel-length manuscript) is about her. If you mean to say Vern or his lady, then no.

Yeah the main girl in Eleventeen. Vern and Kayla have served their purpose for me. I don't care about them now, I want to know what happens next with Magda. Does she keep the job at the video store, does her other boss do anything about the incident, who is she with now, what's going to happen to her now. She seems to not really care about the incident in retrospect, just a blip in her life, what has happened to her since to make that seem not so bad. Pretty much, I want to read more. You'd be amazed at how many people don't get this. Or the difference between her not caring then as a form of self-preservation, versus her not caring now because, well, shit, life goes on. Her father makes her quit. She is with two different guys in the next chapter. This version is a very very very shortened version of chapter three of the manuscript. Nicolette Opal
Pivotal. Perhaps the single most important character.

Dread
1. Don't try and guess the end of a novel in progress. It's rude. 2. Especially don't do it in a public forum. 3. She wouldn't tell you if you were right anyway.

Molly
(Despite the past ten years, I have some high hopes for this) Ditto. Sonic's new running animation is kind of... ih. But putting Sonic back in 2-D? Smart move.
SuaveStar
I'm out the loop, is this a cartoon, downloadable episodes of a game, or a new DS game?
KnightWing
It's a console game. Judging by the "Episode I" subtitle, it's probably a downloadable episodic game. Or the new gimmick for this game is that Sonic runs through the story of The Phantom Menace.

Kscriv
Man I can just picture running up, seeing Jar Jar and hearing the Metal Sonic music from Sonic & Knuckles cueing up. Feels epic in my head. Then again I can just about anything set to that music comes across as epic to me.
