SuaveStar
You totally should Preston. Just keep in mind that a robot might piss you off, and make you show why they call you "Wisconsin Warrior"
Molly
Generally, I'm too tall to be an extra. I know when they were shooting "Public Enemies" in Oshkosh, they only want dudes up to 6 feet tall. That and me jamming my foot into Michael Bay's ass would probably not endear me. Guest TFG1Mike
Announcement trailer I'm assuming that the secret that has been kept for 40 years part obviously will take place before the events of the second film. I am kinda optimistic about this film. With the recasting and everything plus there's no writers strike going on. Fingers Crossed. As far as this trailer the effects are nice, but it reminds me of the teaser for the first film.
KnightWing
Hmm. That actually looks cool.
JackFetch
I think this pretty much confirms Astrotrain. My question is who is the guy that they showed waking up?
KnightWing
He looks really familiar... Alpha Trion, maybe?
JackFetch
At the risk of sounding comically racist, they all kind of look alike to me.
KnightWing
In the films, yeah, they often do look alike, especially the Decepticons. It doesn't help that the films' transformers rarely look like the cartoon or comic versions, so it's hard to judge which characters they are. Venneh
...The premise for this sounds like a conspiracy theory gone really, really, really wrong, I'm sorry. Then again, they are going on what they built it off of in the last few movies, so.
KnightWing
Woah, woah, woah. You're looking for plot in these movies? Crazy.
Venneh
Like I said to the creator of Shortpacked and Linkara on Twitter: BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT LIES TO YOU LIKE IT DID ABOUT THE TRANSFORMURZ. ZOMG CONSPIRACY THEORY. Also, there is no science/believability in a Bay movie; there are only vengeful shadows.
JackFetch
This is what I can gather about the plot from the teaser: Shit goes crazy, explosions happen, a hot girl is involved somehow. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9nNtqlwMys
CaptainAmerica2011
I'm 28 years old. I have loved Transformers for close to 26 years, some of my earliest memories of my life are of my parents sitting me down to watch transformers on tv. When my first girlfriend and I broke up, and I was very sad I watched Transformers, and it was the only thing that made me feel better. I do not give a shit about this movie. That's all I took away from that pretty dull trailer.
KnightWing
I dig that trailer. From what IGN Movies has been saying about what else they've seen and heard about the movie, this might actually be the first good film in the series. I'll remain cautiously optimistic. The first film was enjoyable. It's the second that deserves all the hate it gets.
KnightWing
The first film was fun, but I don't know if I'd call it good.
Missy
That trailer only held my interest because it all takes place in Chicago. Otherwise, I couldn't care less about this movie.
SuaveStar
The first film was fun, but I don't know if I'd call it good. It was better than it had any right to be.
Koete
Both of them are poor examples of filmmaking. I haven't seen the second one, but seriously, once you know one of the Decepticons has testicles, that pretty much says it all.
Stavros
The first film was fun, but I don't know if I'd call it good. It was better than it had any right to be. No, like almost any film, it had every right to actually be good. It's better than the second one. It's still quite poor.

If you can sit down and watch the film and get to the end without wanting to throw the DVD out of the window. The scenes before the Transformers showed up in the first film were crap. But it was fun, mindless fun. Could it have been better? Yes, a lot better. Could it have been a lot worse? Yes, it could have been.
Stavros
True. I'll at least give it that it felt important, I was happy the franchise wasn't being short-changed on the scale or production levels. Just story and characters.
