SuaveStar
I agree with Mike, if a podcast goes on for a while, I listen to the latest episode, then go back if I like it, and catch up. I haven't posted a review(I think) for FYEO, so I'll go and do one right now. Edit: Just wrote it, think I gave a fair opinionated review. I said "They have their moments" Anyway, first week back at college, so much work and I feel so stressed out already, thank god my first week is over, now I have work to do at home, which is going to be hard. Crap, I feel so tired, one week in, jesus, this is going to be hard.
Dread
I got a one star review on my first episode based on my dislike of Rush. They never took it down. Don't bother.
Venneh
In what is quickly becoming a theme of this week, the campground/state park I work at is le dead. Just found out that one of the computers can play DVDs, though, so that'll help.
Stavros
My back is killing me so bad that I've just taken some codeine to try and take the edge off.
Venneh
My sister apparently needed my graphing calculator for school (this had been bought up before, but never actually discussed beyond theoretical need). Now, I love her and all, but she came in at 6:45 this morning to wake me up so that I could get it for her. Couldn't she have told me this sometime in the last few days when I was actually awake, and not on my day off?
Molly
Lucy and I were in bed at 11:30 last night, which, knowing us is a Herculean feat of will. We were awoken by testosterone-laden, idiot frat boy screams, and due to her job as the Student Assistant Hall Director for the building she was up (which means *I* was up) for another two and a half hours, dealing with it. Rotten. Fuckers.
Venneh
You two have my pity for being the only non-frat people in a fraternity dorm.
Molly
We're not the only two non-greeks, but independents are the vast minority in about a 30-70 split.
dc20willsave
I think I just got a little bit sick.
Venneh
....Please tell me they're not seriously advertising it like that. :x Also, is it that difficult to replace a roll of toilet paper with another one when you use the last of it? Stavros
I hope those are stickers that you can remove and restick to random inappropriate books throughout bookstores. Who knew that Fight Club was Bella & Edward's favourite book?
dc20willsave
HarperCollins is. It's all levels of something not pleasant.

Dread
James Joyce's Ulysses: Bella and Edward's favorite book. That'll get 'em! I thought it was going to be Wuthering Heights and Zombies.
KnightWing
WUTHERING HEIGHTS?!?!? Seriously? That's their favorite book? GOD, no wonder they have problems.
slothian
My least favourite MP in the entire country is at it again, wanting to legislate small, irrelevant things whilst completely missing the bigger picture. The final paragraph almost perfectly sums up his main character flaw (other than proven corruption).

dc20willsave
Accidentally got drunk last night/right now and fell asleep at one point in one of my (straight) friends beds. May have accidentally touched places in my sleep. Still kind of drunk, tired, and need to be at work at 10 for 8 hours. Shit. Even when I'm tipsy, I somehow try to spell check. A Plus. SuaveStar
I had an old woman shout at me about an idiot driver who she walked in front of, shout at me. All I took away from it, was that she said "She's a blonde, just wanting to have fun"
Venneh
Seventy-six hours over the last eight days (seven, more like, if you count having off on Thursday), and for the most of the last two days (and the next two) I'm stuck with my idiotic bitch of a coworker (the one I mentioned in July who cut out on us five hours before her shift ended). dc20willsave
Have a ten hour work day today. Would be fine except dear god am I going to be busy also. First day of Fall Quarter is not a good time to be working in the bookstore.

Venneh
So, I got this email from my Japanese professor today: Dear students, Welcome to CHJA411! We will be jumping into lesson 5 from the very beginning. For Day 1, you need to study Culture Notes, Grammar 1-5, Dialogue 1, and Kanji (書1−5;èªï¼‘−5). Again, we are beginning from lesson 5. Also, there will be a first kanji quiz on the fist day. Sincerely, *name witheld* I can see that this man's ridiculously high expectations are going to be continuing. :/ On the other hand, at least he gave us four days of notice. JackFetch
So it isn't Batman: Arkham Asylum that is freezing my 360. I bought a new game and it froze right off the bat. I checked, and sure enough my warranty is out. Shit.
dc20willsave
Your normal warranty is out. However, Microsoft pretty much covers red rings indefinitely. Just wrap your 360 in a blanket, leave it on over night, and you'll have yourself a red ring. Just call Microsoft first, just to be safe though.
