As odd as it is, there are a lot of references of DC Comics in The Office. I am a really big fan of the NBC comedy, The Office. I am also a DC Comics fan, and what I have noticed i that there are a lot of references to DC Comics in The Office. I wonder if one or more of the creators likes DC Comics, cause there are a lot of DC references.

Here are a few that I was able to find and remember:

Dwight Schrute: Michael and I have a very special connection. He's like Batman, I'm like Robin.

Michael: I'm like Superman and the people who work here are like the citizens of Gotham City.

Jim and Dwight: That's Batman.

Michael: Okay, fine, I'll be Aquaman. Where does he live?

Jim: The ocean.

Michael: I work with a bunch of nerds!

Dwight Schrute: Lex Luthor said it best when he said, 'Dad, you have no idea what I'm capable of.'

Michael Scott: Is that from Superman?

Dwight Schrute: Smallville. And that's why I should get a raise.

(Dwight dressed up as the Joker in The Dark Knight on the elevator)

Dwight Schrute: Ha ha ha! Wanna see a magic trick? Ha ha ha! I am going to make a pencil disa - (elevator door closes)
