Ferris for favorite but Breakfast Club for best. Hard one.

At one point I could recite both Uncle Buck and PT&A verbatim without the film to guide me. Great films, sad to see him go. I guess he was in movie jail though. Not a lot of directorial stuff as of late.

I have to see Ferris again, because I have a feeling I'll have a different take on it now that I'm (supposedly) an adult.

Uncle Buck is an underrated classic in my mind, and I'd love to say it's my favorite or his best, but it's not. I think both have to go to The Breakfast Club, but I'm holding off for now.

Uncle Buck for favourite and Planes, Trains & Automobiles for best. For some reason PT&A just always hits me right in the soft spot. But in looking at the list, you know the great thing about his movies, any of them you could just put in and watch regardless of how you're feeling. Happy day, sad day, rainy day, sunny day, heartbreak day, etc, they're all just really good films.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off for favorite.

The Breakfast Club will probably be considered his best work. I don't know that it's better than all of the others (namely Bueller), but I can't think of any of them I could say is truthfully better than it.

while I pretty much agree with everyone.... I don't think I could pick 1 over the other. Ferris, Breakfast Club, Uncle Buck, & PT&A are all awesome. Will I be stoned for asking why Home Alone 1-2 wasn't on the poll? lol

Breakfast club for both. I wasn't expecting to really enjoy it that much and was blown away. Bueller is clever and funny but I can't bring myself to truly like any of the characters involved. Maybe if I'd seen it when I was young.

He didn't direct them, he did write them though.

What about ferris718.jpeg

Obviously that excludes pot head Charlie Sheen, that goes without saying. I just don't like Ferris or Cameron really.

I would change my vote if I could. A local station had Breakfast Club on last night and man it does not hold up one iota. One of the most dated films I have seen. Ferris feels as new as the day it came out still.
