RSS
Lackluster coups are staged (Squadron Supreme: Bright Shining Lies), villains successfully rise to power (Dark Avengers: Dark Avengers Assemble), and a god makes his triumphant return (Thor by J. Michael Straczynski, volume one) in this installment of Waiting for the Trade. Koete
I love everything about JMS' Thor. I love the epic story of the gods, I love the interaction between the gods and the mortals, and I love the gorgeous Olivier Coipel artwork. It was an agonizing wait between the first and second hardcovers, but it was so worth it. I don't want to spoil anything, but JMS really gets down to business on the overarching storyline throughout his run. Can't wait for the third and final JMS collection to be solicited to see where it ends up. If it's as great as the other two, this run will easily make my personal top 5.
