Missy
Even I was surprised when Ian sent me the file. Until then, I had no idea what he was working on, and who he was doing it with.

Missy
By the way, Des is pulling that Wolverine thing again. Of the three episodes of Earth-2.net: The Show that have aired so far this week, he's been in all three! Add in Dread Media 104 and Des has been a part of four of the six items that have been published on E2.
SuaveStar
He's the best he is at what he does, and what he does is have sex with werewolves, and then blog about it.

Venneh
Just finished listening to this. I've never seen the director's cut, only the theatrical, and I remember not thinking much of it in middle school. So I'm probably going to try and seek out the director's cut now and give it a try, thanks to your guys' recommendations. Good show!
Stavros
Even I was surprised when Ian sent me the file. Until then, I had no idea what he was working on, and who he was doing it with. They're talking behind your back, its only a matter of time. I am prepared to initiate Operation Nacht der langen Messer on your command, Herr Yoda. I had a lot of fun doing this although the raw recording had me incredibly loud compared to Des speaking in his usual tone! Even so, this won't be the last time that I try to wangle a fellow staff member to come in on a joint review - crossovers are fun!
Dread
I belive you mean wrangle. Wangle sounds dirty... Also, that was my program being messed up. I have a much better set-up now.

Guest DCAUFan1051
So far I'm loving this ep... I was surprised that both Ian and Des liked the films. Don't ask me why, but I was. Actually I'm more shocked that Des didn't go into a Nickelback rant, because their song Learn The Hard Way was played during the bar scene. slothian
I belive you mean wrangle. Wangle sounds dirty... He knows what he said. Indeed I did. And whilst we're splitting hairs, I'm not all that sure what "belive" means!! Mike, your surprise may be coming from the fact that it's rare to hear a two-person positive movie review on Earth-2. Be it for the various flaws of the Batman movies, or the tradition of (desevervedly) slating the Saw franchise, it's not all that common an occurence. There are definitely exceptions to that rule (Mike & Jenny on Ultraviolet and Equilibrium, Mike & James on The New Frontier or most DCAU feature length spin-offs) so I'm glad that a relatively maligned film like Daredevil can be recommended by the like of Des and I. To the Commonwealth!!

Guest DCAUFan1051
I think for me outside of some of the more hard edged tracks on the soundtrack, hearing the songs that were in the film on the theatrical release night it made me go buy the soundtrack right after the movie let out. I hope no one rips on me for this, but I thought that the female singer at first was Tori Amos. I hadn't heard of Evanescence at the time. Still awesome episode guys. Guest DCAUFan1051
oh and Ian there was also a extended cut of The Punisher (2004) film... which is the only copy of the film I have. It adds in who betrayed Frank Castle.
Dread
Ian, Dardevil predates the Matrix Reloaded theatrically by four months!
Guest
... I like Evanescence. Honestly, the way my mind works, and how I listen to music (almost entirely for the purpose of creating movie scenes in my head), chances are I would have put a shitload of licensed stuff in there myself, and for the purpose of Daredevil, it worked most of the time. Though I don't know if you noticed that Nickelback of all things is playing in the background of the bar scene.
