KnightWing
Yeah... I dunno about that. I don't particularly mind it, unless it's put on repeat for more than five minutes. Then I'll want to put a bullet in my brainpan.

If you get tired of listening to a band to the point of wanting to blow your head off after only five minutes, then it stands to reason that they make really shitty music. KnightWing
See, it's weird. I enjoy it for those five minutes. I think there's a peak point.
MaxPower
Eh, for me it's that he admitted he changed their style to sell more records, to be more "mainstream".. They encapsulate everything that is wrong with the music industry. Hot chicks in their video clips though

They had one half decent song, and have been living off the coattails of "How you remind me" ever since. I'll admit to liking the song when it first came out, but then it just outstayed it's welcome. dc20willsave
These people are marathoning Mario to raise money for Child's Play. Already an awesome view.

MaxPower
I don't get it, they all rip each other off with the same weapon?? OHHHHH the blood....
Guest
The point is that nothing is original anymore. It's not nearly as funny when I have to explain it.
Molly
I got, and loved, it Damien.
MaxPower
So I did get it with the ripping each other off bit. I would have thought of all the entertainment industry (TV, film, music, video games) VG has the most original content at this point, comparatively that is. Aaron Robinson
I’d say that’s a pretty hard thing to measure.

I would have thought of all the entertainment industry (TV, film, music, video games) VG has the most original content at this point, comparatively that is. Definitely not. I'd say TV is shining right now, what with so many high-quality serialized shows out there. Video games are extremely derivative, even more so than movies these days. Sure, there's some great ideas, but those are unfortunately few and far-between.
JackFetch
TV is just as unoriginal as movies right now. There are 20 dramas trying to be the next Lost, A ton of crime dramas trying to be Law and Order or CSI, and a mountain of reality shows that are all the same. There are also all the remakes of old shows like V and Hawaii 5-0.
KnightWing
Hmm. Perhaps. I'm tired, and The Last Airbender sucked all the sense out of me.
MaxPower
Back to the original pic, when I first saw it, I thought it was trying to make some sort of statement about violence in video games, not the similarities. I thought it was a fair question to ask the meaning of it. But that's ok, just automatically rip a guy for not being on the same wave length as the rest of you
