prez
James Robinson co-wrote the issue. Next issue, Arthur succumbs to his former addiction to blowfish toxin.
Stavros
At this point DC's going to have to start a dealing with limb loss support group. Aquaman, Arsenal, Cyborg, Risk, I'm sure there are others. Heck at the end of the Rann-Thanagarian war half those guys came back messed up. Koete
James Robinson co-wrote the issue. Next issue, Arthur succumbs to his former addiction to blowfish toxin. I'll call this adventure, "The Time I Got High as Shit and Beat People Up WIth a Dead Walrus."
Molly
How does a children's cartoon have more respect for Aquaman than the company publishing him? Seriously.
Koete
Such a mishandling on DC's part is... ...OUTRAGEOUS.

Koete
Hey now, there can never be too much OUTRAGEOUSNESS when Aquaman is involved.
SuaveStar
Seeing as I can't find a specific Generation Lost thread, but it falls under the Brightest Day stuff, I'll post this here. In Generation Lost #19: Jaime Reyes, the Blue Beetle was shot in the head, and supposedly killed by Maxwell Lord.
KnightWing
Yeah, I'm guessing that won't stick.
Molly
Yeah, I've seen the pages. If it's not a fakeout, I'll eat my hat.
Koete
Huh. Both Brightest Day and Justice League: Generation Lost #19 had repetitive, character based events occur. Coincidence!?
Molly
...Yes.
Koete
I think not.
SuaveStar
Yeah, I've seen the pages. If it's not a fakeout, I'll eat my hat. He's on the cover of issue 21, and in the solicitations, they mention it. So, I'm guessing it'll all be fine by the end of issue 24.
SuaveStar
So another person's mission was completed: In Titans #32 Osiris had to steal Freddy Freeman's powers by shouting Isis's name while holding onto Captain Marvel, which took away Freddie's powers and brought Isis back from the dead. From the weird art, I think she was supposed to be still partially stone. Basically, Osiris returning has now made all the Marvel family useless in the DCU as now none of them have any powers. SuaveStar
So Brightest Day #20: Aquawar ended, pretty fast. Black Manta and Mera's sister were sent back into the bermuda triangle dimension thing. Black Manta swore to come back and kill Aqualad. Aquaman's mission was accomplished, and to celebrate, the ring turned him into water. For some reason. The art wasn't that great to me, Ivan Reis seemed rush, and not his usual awesome self. Next month we are told that we will be following some of Martian Manhunters story. This series really seems like it is rushing towards it's finish, it shows and is not a good thing. Also, Green Lantern #62: Krona defeated Hal, and they seem to be setting Hal up for a downfall, as he is ignoring the league, and barry brought into question when is the last time he was Hal Jordan and not just the Green Lantern. SuaveStar
So Brightest Day #20: Deathstorm seems to be making his way towards Earth and now the other heroes have noticed the White Light is being evil. Martian Manhunters mission, "Burn it all down" was supposed to be kill the psycho Martian woman and yourself by burning yourselves alive in the Sun. So he did. MM's mission is completed. He was then asked to choose to be a son of Earth or Mars, and he chose to protect Earth. He was then rewarded by the ring making him a part of Earth. Is anyone else noticing that all the heroes who's stories are playing out in BD main book are all being taken away again, but the ones outside this book are all fine, such as Jade, Max and Osiris? Also, it was shown that Aquaman's hand is still floating in the ocean, even though he was turned into water. Seems to me, that this was just rushing very quickly to the finish. Green Lantern #63: Krona sent out the Manhunters to destroy Sector 666. Also, the Guardians put a warrant out for Hal Jordan and Krona now has all the entities, and has propped them up as books in front of the book of black. At the end of the issue we are told: "There will be three" as the four Earth Green Lanterns are shown. Both good issues. But both felt like they had to very quickly lead to the next things. GL being War of the GL's, and BD being the ending of the 12's missions.
SuaveStar
So, the latest issue of Titans ended with: Slade's eye being pulled out. Making him completely blind now. So, that was interesting. EDIT: Justice League: Generation Lost #21: Jaime woke up and asked what was going on. So, technically he was never dead, but he now knows how to stop Max Lord. KnightWing
I just realized that I've stopped reading Brightest Day and its tie-ins just because Suave's been posting these summaries, and I don't feel like I'm missing anything. KnightWing
Daww. I was hoping for "The Second Blackest Night." I would have also accepted "Even Blacker Night," "Blackestest Night," or "Blackedy Black Black Blackest Night."
