ShaunKL
Awesome. Martin Sheen is an all time favourite of mine. So the Illusive Man is Uncle Ben. Everything makes so much sense now!
JackFetch
Denis Leary is the latest name to join the cast of the upcoming Spider-Man reboot, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Leary is said to be in negotiations to play Police Captain George Stacy, father to Peter Parker's love interest, Gwen Stacy (to be played in the film by Emma Stone). Captain Stacy was played in 2007's Spider-Man 3 by James Cromwell. In the comic book continuity, Stacy loses his life during a battle between Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus. Not knowing that he and Peter are the same person, Gwen blames Spider-Man for the tragedy. Leary also joins Andrew Garfield as Peter, Martin Sheen as Ben Parker and Rhys Ifans in an unspecified villian role. http://www.superherohype.com/news/articles/110759-denis-leary-joins-spider-man
Molly
Leary is an awesome choice for Gwen's dad.
Koete
Leary is an awesome choice for Gwen's dad. I disagree, I don't see him in the role at all.
KnightWing
I can see it. Should be great. Definitely better than Zefram Cochrane, anyway.

KnightWing
Looks like Mary Jane wearing a Gwen wig. Peter sure has some morbid bedroom fantasies...

Stavros
You know Lohan started with red hair right? Looking like early period Lohan is fine. Looking like late era Lohan is a mistake.
Venneh
You know Lohan started with red hair right? Yeppers, I knew that, back when she was with Disney. This looks like late-period Lohan.

KnightWing
I think the super-dark eye makeup is part of the problem.
Venneh
Yeah, non-raccoon eyes would help a ton.
Dread
So would a body that doesn't look like a twelve year old boy.

JackFetch
Chris Zylka's role in Marc Webb's Spider-Man reboot has been confirmed to be that of Flash Thompson, says a report at The Wrap. Thompson, who first appeared in the original Spider-Man origin in Amazing Fantasty #15 was a high-school jock and bully to Peter Parker. Over the course of the comic book series, the two mended their animosity and became friends. Most recently, Thompson's character has developed as a disabled war veteran, romantically linked to Betty Brant. Zylka joins Andrew Garfield in the role of Parker and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy. The cast also includes Martin Sheen, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Julianne Nicholson, Irrfan Khan and Annie Parisse. Shooting began this week in Los Angeles with a release planned for July 3, 2012. http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=72283#ixzz17fczrGnN The guy looks exactly the way Flash should. KnightWing
The guy looks exactly the way Flash should. I thought the exact same thing. It's almost eerie how much he looks like the character. Definitely better than Flash in the first movie.
Venneh
What Emma Stone actually looks like in the movie (shooting a funeral scene, apparently): See, the removal of the raccoon eyes helps the look a LOT.
JackFetch
I wish someone would teach this generation how to use makeup properly. It's supposed to enhance the beauty you already have, like the picture above, not make you look like a different person. Whenever I see the raccoon eyes on a young woman I want to smack her. It all started with Avril Lavine.
Venneh
Anyways, yeah, she looks a bit less trainwreck here.
