J Marv
Viewtiful Joe 2 Demo wipes memory cards. I don't want to make light of the situation, but those posts at the end of that article bring the hilarity. I feel that Sony has just wasted part of my life... Missy
Who's to blame: Sony or Capcom?
J Marv
Sounds like Sony, since it was their disc, and they issued the apology. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be on Capcom's end because that's something that would be caught in testing.

drqshadow
Actually, I'm thinking it was on Capcom's end. Mainly because the only fix Sony issued for the problem was to simply remove the VJ2 demo from the disc and resume shipping them. I got my (non-Joe) winter sampler in the mail the other day, but I wouldn't load it up without removing my memory cards anyway. It's something that would get caught in testing, yes, IF it were a complete game. This is a demo, a work in progress.
