dc20willsave
On the sad end of the spectrum, Happy Endings isn't getting picked up by USA.

Stavros
Is Dawson the least successful member of Dawson's Creek?
JackFetch
I think all four of the main cast have had pretty successful careers. Van Der Beek hasn't had a huge hit yet, but he's been working a lot so he makes money.
dc20willsave
Of the original four? Yes but Katie Holmes's career in in her decline. If we expand it to include Kerr Smith, not quite.

I only count the original four, and Katie now has Tom Cruise divorce money from the most successful acting job of her career.
dc20willsave
How am I only now noticing that 1) The Venture Brothers came back yesterday and 2) A new season of The Aquabats! Super Show! started a few days ago.
JackFetch
Venture Brothers was better than it has been lately. I also liked the hour format.
Venneh
I haven't seen anything beyond the one season on Netflix, so I need to catch up on that.
dc20willsave
It's a tie between it, Gravity Falls, Archer, and Adventure Time for being the best animated series currently on the air.
Professor
2) A new season of The Aquabats! Super Show! started a few days ago. Yes. This will do nicely.
SuaveStar
Finding Nemo looks bloody gorgeous on Blu-Ray.

JackFetch
In Amazing Spider-Man they gave the kid that out played the star basketball player and dunked from from the three point line community service instead of putting him on the team. I guess they didn't learn anything from Teen Wolf.
Stavros
Les Miserables is really dark! I've never seen it before but whilst I knew it was about downtrodden folks but good lord, never thought it was this raw.
slothian
Sherriff J W Pepper is in Superman II. SHERRIFF J W PEPPER IS IN SUPERMAN II. GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! (Granted, he's not called J W Pepper and doesn't have the exact same mannerisms). BUT IT IS THE SAME ACTOR AND HE PLAYS A SHERRIFF. FUCK. THAT. SHIT. Otherwise, quite a good film. Gareth
I really do like Superman II and I think it's quite underrated. It's weaknesses really come from Richard Lester's uneven direction. I believe if Donner had remained in charge it could have been a perfect sequel, perhaps even better than the first. I look forward to hearing you thoughts on the podcast. Gareth
I started it once, I plan to sit down and watch the entire thing later. I guess I was just hoping for something a little more complete.
KnightWing
What's weird with the Donner cut is that it assumes the normal ending of Superman: The Movie never happened.
Missy
How come MC Gainey has never been cast as Sabretooth?
Davedevil
What's weird with the Donner cut is that it assumes the normal ending of Superman: The Movie never happened. They were made back to back with the intention of being one huge story, like what they're doing with The Hobbit now.
KnightWing
Yeah, it's just kind of odd to watch the Donner cut of II because you have to mentally picture a version of Superman: The Movie that doesn't actually exist.
Koete
I love that this and Gatsby came out the same year.
