Actually, that's the only reason I'd ever WANT to see an ANOES prequel--if they focused on the crimes he committed and why he did them. I agree 100%. He didn't develop his "humor" until part 3, anyway. No humor in this one. None at all. Here's an interesting question: will they delve into the backstory developed in "Freddy's Dead", such as Freddy having a wife and daughter? From what I remember, the first episode was set on Elm Street and focused on the parents planning to torch Freddy. But my memory is hazy. I don't remember if it was actually good, all I can remember is a dream sequence with the main guy getting a present and Freddy's claw bursting out of his just kinda grabbing his face a bit. I think.
