In it, he outlines the treatment he received and the business practice he experienced from both Marvel and DC as a new comics writer, but also as a writer who routinely sells 100,000 copies of books. Dan Posted March 4, 2015 Report Share Posted March 4, 2015 Bookscan released figures for comic and graphic novel sales through bookstores in 2014. It's pretty fascinating stuff. While superheroes dominated the direct market, there was not a single superhero (or even Marvel or DC) in the top 20 for non-LCS sales. Occasional call for stuff to read, this is. Currently in the library: Captain America ('98), Rucka Wolverine, New Avengers ('13), Avengers (2012), X-Men (Wood run forward), Infinity, Mighty Avengers, She-Hulk, Silver Surfer, All New Doop, X-Force, Ghost Rider (newest), Wolverine and the X-Men (newer run).
