Missy
Based on the listed creators, this looks like a collection of Heroes Return-era comics, and not specifically the Avengers run. The one I find most odd is the inclusion of John Ostrander and Derec Aucoin's Quicksilver series.
Koete
From what Comicbook DB tells me, the "Live Kree or Die" crossover would explain the inclusion.
Koete
Looking back, the greatest moment of Marvel's Ultimate universe was probably Professor X getting pushed down the stairs by Sinister.
KnightWing
Nah. It's Spider-Man taking down the Kingpin. Or him "beating the living crap out of" the Green Goblin.
Stavros
I'm going with Johnny Storm trying to hit on Peter's female clone.
KnightWing
How about the time Wolverine and Peter Parker switched bodies, and Logan tried to bang Mary Jane?
Dread
If it didn't happen in the Ultimates then it probably has nothing to do with the actual answer.
Stavros
How about the time Wolverine and Peter Parker switched bodies, and Logan tried to bang Mary Jane? Sooo creepy. She's 15/16!
Molly
How about the time Wolverine and Peter Parker switched bodies, and Logan tried to bang Mary Jane? Sooo creepy. She's 15/16! Jean wasn't that much older and they were fucking. (I think.)
KnightWing
Jean was eighteen or nineteen. And hey, Logan was in a fifteen-year-old body, soo......
dc20willsave
Jean was eighteen or nineteen. And hey, Logan was in a fifteen-year-old body, soo...... By that logic, we've been wrong in this, "The Doctor is a pedophile" argument since that means that many of the companions of the new series are the pedophiles since the Doctor would be technically a toddler. KnightWing
Well, I would assume that it would just need to fit the body's approximate age. I mean, he's a time lord, right? So maybe the body is artificially aged upon regeneration? So it's exactly as "old" as it appears?
Koete
Vince Colleta's letter to Marvel editors.
Dread
Vince Colleta's letter to Marvel editors. Wow. If he put that much effort and detail into his inking work all the time then maybe he wouldn't have been ostracized like he claimed. Only he was ostracized not because of his allegiance to Shooter, but his constant erasing of backgrounds and detail simplification of some of the greatest comic art ever published. Is it wrong that my immediate response was "Is Des talking about Kirby?" The letter, wow, that guy was pissed.
SuaveStar
Wonder Woman gets a new costume, and such. I can't tell if it's funny or not.
KnightWing
Yeah, I just saw this. Apparently, the gods have tampered with the timeline, thus completely rewriting Diana's origin story. DC's passing this off as a permanent update to the costume, but there's no way that's true. This is going to be a temporary thing; a costume she can use during the new story arc (since her classic one would be far too flamboyant), then toss aside later. And hey, as a temporary, more "real-world" costume, it's not half bad.
Guest
Honestly, that would be a bitchin' costume for a live action movie.
Dread
I think that's what it is.

Missy
It looks like Ultimate Wonder Woman, but I don't mind it at all.
KnightWing
Honestly, that would be a bitchin' costume for a live action movie. Fuck no. WW's costume is far too iconic to mess with like that. I mean, there's a certain degree to which you can alter things, but this is too far. This is an awesome "alternate" costume, but it's not a replacement for the original. I've shown this to a bunch of my female friends, and they're pissed, despite not even being huge comics fans. WW is just too big of a pop culture icon to be visually altered so badly. This is like taking away Superman's cape. Sure, you can make a cool costume like that. Sure, he'd still be the same character. But is it the right thing to do? No! Dread
Buy the comic and then be pissed. Why do I care what people who don't know shit about the character think? The character hasn't worked. Ever. Except a little bit of Rucka. Who cares?
KnightWing
The character hasn't worked. Ever. Except a little bit of Rucka. Who cares? I disagree, and I care. I still plan on reading and enjoying the comic, though. Should be great.
Molly
She's worked as a member of the JLA far better than she's ever worked solo, but I think she's too iconic for this sort of move. I dunno, it doesn't sit well with me.
