SuaveStar
Great work as usual: Mike, the Superman review, was Superman really as much of a dick as you described? If so, I'm glad I couldn't give two shits about the story. Also, isn't it funny that the last two books covered had vampires and Blade showing up in them? Just me then. Preston, I agree, Twilights target audience isn't going to give a shit about most comics. I also thought Wanted was a piece of shit, but I liked the movie of it. Missy
Mike, the Superman review, was Superman really as much of a dick as you described? If so, I'm glad I couldn't give two shits about the story. I didn't make up a single line of dialog or exaggerate his actions. Also, isn't it funny that the last two books covered had vampires and Blade showing up in them? Just me then. Yeah, since I knew that going in, I should have assigned different books. ShaunKL
And I just got Superman 702 in today, read it and thought it was good. Sat down at my computer and proceeded to read the new article in front of me. I'm still crying.
dc20willsave
Reading Tom's review of the D&D comic, yeah, I'll agree the reason most of the various comics and novels have drawn upon established settings is that, outside of it just making more sense financially, is that you have a world to draw from as opposed to having to make a new world in which case, why even bother branding it with the D&D name anyway. It's mainly your creation at that point.
