Molly
I think you could do Teen Titans, without Robin, or even Cyborg if you wanted to distance it from Smallville. Starfire, Beast Boy, Raven, Hot Spot, Terra, Vox, Zatara. And that's ignoring characters with real connections, like Speedy, Wonder Girl and Kid Flash. NightAngle04
Wow I didn't realize this was a fuckin dictatorship where we couldn't voice our opinions.
Dread
Nope, the discussion ended. A Raven series could be interesting. I'm inclined to not like anything DC-TV related that's not Brave and the Bold but I'm willing to give it a shot.
Dread
Speak your mind all you like, but be civil about it. Period.

Starfire, Beast Boy, Raven, Hot Spot, Terra, Vox, Zatara. And that's ignoring characters with real connections, like Speedy, Wonder Girl and Kid Flash. It could end up being a back-door for teh Teen Titans, especially depending on how reception goes. I mean, just think about it; maybe go a season or two of Raven doing stuff on her own, and then she starts to get contacts from the Titans, and she eventually ends up joining at the end of a season, and that grows into TT. But that's just how I would do it. I think that maybe with Smallville, they tried back-dooring a League show, but by that point it was so far gone that they couldn't really do anything. Donomark
Oh this is going to suck. I'm not a fan pf the revamped Geoff Johns Raven, because that to me seems to go too far away from her character established in the Wolfman/Perez days. This will blow chucks because it's the CW. High school, **** drama, pretty white people with problems. **** this.
Dread
Actually, now that you mention it, while Johns' run is easily the second best on the characters yet (ask about the first and you'll get a blank stare), the arc on Raven was really unimpressive. The premise, if played right, could be good. But I don't necessarily have high hopes.
slothian
Coming in here with my ignorance on my sleeve, who would be Raven's supporting cast of characters?
Dread
Bit of an over-bearing dad, non-existant mom. Her friends Eddie and Chelsea and her brother Cory too.
Donomark
Coming in here with my ignorance on my sleeve, who would be Raven's supporting cast of characters? Off the top of my knowledge, her mother Arella and the Teen Titans.
KnightWing
Yeah, Raven's never really been a huge solo character, so her supporting cast might get tricky. We'll have to have a lot of Chloe Sullivans.
Koete
We'll have to have a lot of Chloe Sullivans. This is not a check in the negative column for me.
Dread
Bit of an over-bearing dad, non-existant mom. Her friends Eddie and Chelsea and her brother Cory too. Nothing? Come on, people! A "That's So Raven" reference. I even had to look it up!
KnightWing
I always preferred Lizzie McGuire.

Might help. I mean, loving that Nightwing outfit isn't displaying the traditional gay good dress sense.
KnightWing
But it's certainly flamboyant enough.
AnimeToonFan
I don't know if she's been one of my faves but she's always been one of the more interesting ones in the Titans. I think thats the only way I know her is in the group. It could be interesting though.
ShaunKL
Here's a thing, how would you want her powers manifested on screen? Teen Titans (animated series) style? The way I've seen her powers in the current Teen Titans comic? (Sort of a purplish cloud effect) I'd like the animated style, and it sounds to me at least relatively cheap. KnightWing
The problem with that is that it might not look great on-screen to have a solid black effect with literally no light. It worked in the cartoon because it was already 2D and solid colors were nothing new.
Molly
Well, the cartoon had totally different powers than the comic, anyway.
AnimeToonFan
Also the way they did her animation of her powers for the cartoon I believe was done to suit the anime style they chose. I don't think any anime influence would be possible in a live action series.
SuaveStar
You know when Willow turned evil in Buffy, maybe it'll be something like that.
