I Got Three Questions...

I'm not avid enough to answer that fully, but without allowing much overlap on titles from the same series (usually favour the latest ones because they tend to show off the platform best).

Recommend

Batman: Arkham Asylum

Halo: Reach

Crackdown

Must Haves

Red Dead Redemption

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood

Half Life- The Orange Box

Avoid at all costs

No idea. I very rarely buy games so buying shit ones is even less likely.

I'll second all of that. Be sure you have other friends to play Halo: Reach with you, though. It's an amazing game, but if you don't take advantage of the multiplayer and the single-player mode doesn't hook you, it's easy to miss the game's brilliance.

I agree with Stavros, but added ignore Crackdown 2, as the first one is a lot better. Also I'll add Dead Rising 2 to the list. You can ignore the first one, as they have nothing in common besides zombies, and the second one, is more recent, and actually fun. It's short though.

Also, I'd add if you're a casual racing fan Burnout: Paradise Ultimate edition/pack with all the updates. And Gears of War is fun.

Also, avoid: Most film games, Iron Man, Terminator games. I also don't touch the crap, so I can't say anything other than those ones.
