RSS
This week sees a crime-ridden episode. First of all, grab a wrench, say "Shut up, crime," and ponder the sex appeal of Ellen Page in a superhero costume as Darryll and Desmond interrogate James Gunn's Super. Then Desmond goes solo while dusting James Ellroy's LA: City of Demons for fingerprints. The following songs are in the police lineup: "No Sense of Crime" by Iggy Pop & James Williamson, "I Don't Wanna Be (A Superhero)" by Roadrunner United featuring Michale Graves, "To Live and Die in LA" by 2Pac featuring Val Young, and "Murdera" by Sublime with Rome. Check out www.medallionpress.com to steal an e-book of Personal Demons by Greg Lamberson. But be careful, I'm watching you, punk! Missy
After posting this week's banner, I wrote the following to Des: Maybe this is what they were going for, but seeing Ellen Page in that costume makes me think she's going to be in one of those superhero XXX parodies. And no, I'm not complaining about that.
slothian
Something I posted in the Randomness thread: So looking at the main page at the moment, visitors get to be hot under the collar about seeing Servalan with a gun, followed by Ellen Page in spandex....and their boner is then killed by Adric's stupid face. Dan
Just finished watching Super. I really wanted to love it. I liked it, but I didn't love it. Part of me feels like James Gunn is just going to keep writing The Specials until someone laughs.
Dread
That was very well-put.
