Koete
I've been waiting to hear what Mike thought of Catwoman and Red Hood.

You Know Who
Wow...wasn't expecting that last rant. While I do agree that a bare-legged Wonder Woman looks like a glorified hooker, an Amazon in pants is just stupid and anachronistic. Give her greaves and some sort of skirt. Missy
In a world where the Greek pantheon walks among mortals, and aliens from space, weaponized rings, men who run with the speed of lightning, and highly trained people fight crime in leather masks is considered commonplace, I don't think anything can be called anachronistic. But, as for the issue of Wonder Woman needing pants, tell me when she stands alongside Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, and the other male heroes of the Justice League, you're taking her seriously -- especially after seeing her in her almost-DCnU costume which had pants. It's a joke the way she looks. Any second I expect it to turn into The Boys; she's an escort at their "we just beat Darkseid" afterparty, not a well-respected member of the team. If, however, they put her in a knee-length leather skirt with knee-high metal or leather boots, that would suffice. Anything but the panties. You Know Who
In a world where the Greek pantheon walks among mortals, and aliens from space, weaponized rings, men who run with the speed of lightning, and highly trained people fight crime in leather masks is considered commonplace, I don't think anything can be called anachronistic. Maybe not. Admittedly I get bothered by things that depart from history or mythology more than most people. I just think it would make sense for Amazons--a civilization that willingly cuts itself off from man's world--not to be wearing pants, something that didn't really catch on in Europe until Imperial Rome, assuming the split occurred before then. But, as for the issue of Wonder Woman needing pants, tell me when she stands alongside Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, and the other male heroes of the Justice League, you're taking her seriously -- especially after seeing her in her almost-DCnU costume which had pants. And I was talking about her attire in general. I hadn't seen the DCnU costume until your post (since I'm not reading DCnU, at least not until the trades come out in a year) and still think she still looks like a glorified hooker. If, however, they put her in a knee-length leather skirt with knee-high metal or leather boots, that would suffice. Anything but the panties. Exactly. Greaves are plates of armor worn between the knee and the ankle.
Donomark
I'm glad you altered your score for Red Outlaws, because the book has remained to be pervasively sexist. The fact that Starfire enjoys sex isn't the problem. The fact that she can't tell the difference between partners and has a super-short term memory WHILST being especially sex hungry is the problem. I hated Catwoman, but I freely admit that is owed to my preference towards how Batman was written, not so much Selina. But Red Outlaws is a vapid, vacuous comic book. IMO.
