The biggest question is whether or not Mega Man is carrying the powers and abilities of Wiley's creations, and then there's the question of how much power MM is loaded up with. This could potentially be a squash for MM.

However, the story seems to indicate that MM is just the basic "blue" MM, with the arm cannon. Machine guns, lasers and super strength carry the day, and MM does not have as much experience flying as his opponent does.

Mega Man fights valiantly, but is subdued. When he finds out what really happened, they both go after Wiley.

Since Mega Man never carries his abilities from one game to the next, just assume he's the standard blue Mega Man that starts each game.

I've got to go with Megaman. Astro is already injured (and pretty severly if it destroyed his voice box) which evens them up pretty much and I just think Megaman would end up gaining the upper hand after an epic evasive battle.

Mega Man takes this. Astro knows that Mega Man is a good robot and won't go as relentless as the blue bomber will be. Add that to the fact that Astro isn't fighting at 100% and it's a no contest.
