JackFetch
I guess this makes it official. No release date, but they showed the test footage at SDCC.

Molly
I'm so fucking excited for Edgar Wright on this project.
Stavros
Awesome. Some people are going to think it's a knock off Spider-man based on the name but if anyone can make Ant-man stand out it's Edgar Wright. Been watching everything that man does since Spaced started over a decade ago and he only gets more exciting.
Koete
It has been added to the schedule for release on November 6, 2015.
JackFetch
It has been moved up to Summer 2015. It will be out just two weeks after Zack Snyder's Batman/Superman. That is a ballsy move.
NightAngle04
Ballsy or dumb? We shall see.
Stavros
Not exactly what I would have done. They're likely to be very different films but not when it comes to marketing them. Plus the headlines write themselves- Ant-Man crushed.
KnightWing
They may be betting on the upbeat tone of Ant-Man to be pleasantly different enough from the "serious" tone of Superman/Batman.

dc20willsave
I'll agree with you there Preston if for no other reason than that ass.
Venneh
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm hm. Do we have an actor for Ant Man yet?
Dan
Doubtful. We'd probably have heard something by now. I assume this is a costume test.

Dread
Love. It. Ant-Man's a pretty silly costume. That's a great way of making it real-life appropriate. Kung Fu fight with an actual ant or GTFO.
JackFetch
The current rumor is Paul Rudd for Hank Pym. Joseph Gordon Levitt was the other one, but he denied it. Would you guys be ok with Rudd?
Dan
In an Edgar Wright-directed movie, absolutely. He's got charisma to spare and is goofy as hell, but is still a decent actor.
Dan
Not that it realistically matters, but has it been confirmed which Ant-Man this is going to be? I assume that whichever name they use the character will end up acting like a somewhat less assholish and more lovable Eric O'Grady.
MaxPower
I just don't get the Rudd love, I think he's really boring to watch on screen. For some reason Jason Sudeikis pop's in my mind as a better alternate to Rudd.
Missy
John Krasinski, please.
KnightWing
I like Rudd for Ant-Man.
JackFetch
I don't really have a problem with Rudd, but I have to look him up every time to remember who he is. Then I remember that I like his movies.
Koete
Nick Kroll.
Venneh
Variety is reporting that Rudd is in negotiations to star; this isn't official yet.
