Stavros
Groot will be voiced by Orson Welles, they're just going to get the rights to some of his films and manipulate sound samples. Helps that during Citizen Kane about 40% of his dialogue was "I am Groot".
Kenny Evil
Just hire Maurice LaMarche. His version of Orson Welles has become the go-to version anyway to the point that Orson Welles doesn't sound like Orson Welles any more.
Molly
Actually, LaMarche doing his Morbo voice would be perfect for Groot. It'd be nice to see a voice actor not get shown up by a celebrity for once. On that note, Nolan North for Rocket Racoon.
JackFetch
Looks like I may be right. Vin Diesel posted a picture of Groot on his Facebook.
Molly
Better Groot than Rocket Raccoon.

Dan
Per Latino Review (which has admittely been less and less concerned with getting stories right of late) and the Hollywood Reporter, Rocket Raccoon has been offered to Bradley Cooper. JackFetch
The internet hissy fit if it's true will be fun to watch.
Dan
The hissy fit will be spectacular ndeed, and IMHO completely unwarranted. He's an Oscar-nominated actor with charisma to spare and excellent comedic chops. He can probably handle voicing the cartoon raccoon. dc20willsave
Yeah but it should still be David Tennant because it works with my fanfiction where the Doctor is a space raccoon and travels with Uhura.
JackFetch
He's not British. That right there is going to make the internet angry.
MaxPower
I just think it should have gone to a notable voice actor instead of this decade's Ryan Reynolds.
dc20willsave
Interesting choice of terms. While Ryan has been active longer, they're the same age and, like Dan mentioned, Bradley is a proven box-office draw and critical success. Notable voice actors are great and I would have loved a Steve Blum, Corey Burton, or Quinton Flynn, Hollywood doesn't work that way. Same reason that notable voice actors can't be leads in Disney or Dreamworks films.
KnightWing
He's not British. That right there is going to make the internet angry. Given the fact that just about every American superhero shy of Captain America himself is played by a Brit these days, the internet can go to hell on that one. Tom Hiddleston is english but he's Eeevil, so that doesn't count. Everyone else is american I thought.
JackFetch
Don't forget Spidey. Although he is technically American he grew up in England.

Australia has Wolverine, Thor and they sneaked Jor-El too. So you get to keep Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk and new Batman. But we still get to play all the bad guys- Loki, Mandarin, Malekith (thor 2), Killian, Abomination, Nebula, Bane, Ras Al Ghul, Scarecrow, etc
