Beating the final boss in Viewtiful Joe

Alright, I haven't gone back to this game for months now cause I keep having a bitch of a time with King Blue. Is there anyone who has some good information on how I can beat this guy so I can finally beat Viewtiful Joe?

And I'm talking about his first form, not his second form... although an idea on how he's like would be helpful too.

You can only hurt him when he comes forward, then use Slow, Zoom in, and hold onto punch until he moves away or your bar runs out. The rest is left up to your evasion skills. The second form is just like battleling Captain Blue the first three times but much harder.
