Fantastic first episode, amazing visual style and really sharp writing. It's about a society twenty minutes from now where a group of forum members meet up to discuss the unpublished sequel to a famous comic from the 80s. meanwhile two killers are going around trying to find a woman named Jessica hinde. There's also background details about a global food shortage, a civil servant who had been blackmailed into buying a huge amount of a vaccine and lots more.
