Sadly, there were no bondage magazines this year. Onto the photos! The ever pricey dealer's room. Masks aplenty. IT'S RAPE-O-CLOCK IN WEREWOLF LAND! Found a short sword here for FIVE DOLLARS. Good deal. Only bought one weapon this year, so no, I was not able to bring home the Master Sword. Insert witty dentist joke here. This was the only vendor selling horror DVDs. Everyone else was selling porn... ... seriously. Figures of action. I had to take a lot of business cards from people, as there was way too much awesome stuff I wanted to buy. I think I took a picture of every piece of art they had in there. Not a bad one in the bunch, really. I call this one... "Taco Night". I call this one... "Perversion". I'm not quite sure why. I stared at this one for a while. Something really cool about it. I got a free button with this on it, so score one for me. Probably my favorite of all of them. He signed my copy of Weed Species. Spelled my name wrong, but everyone does. Tom Savini. You'll notice I managed to do something different with my hand in every photo. You're impressed, admit it. Sid Haig. One bad muthafucka. Bill Moseley. He looks concerned. I look stoned. Roddy Piper is your god. I love this photo more and more every time I see it. It looks like we're about to get into a barfight together. My loot at the end of the day. Relatively small compared to years past, but I sprang much more for autographs this year. Lots of random free stuff, buttons and such. S-Mart ID badge. The aformentioned $5 sword Weed Species, autographed by the man himself, Jack Ketchum A Dire Imaginings hologram. It's a nurse that turns into an alien of some sort. Mystery Science Theater bootlegs House of 1,000 Corpses poster signed by Sid Haig and Bill Moseley. It's My Party and I'll Die If I Want To (and yes Des, both Jack and Tony Wash got the Dread Media referal) After freeloading from him for years, I finally bought a Dawn of the Dead poster for Tom Savini to sign Roddy Piper signed photo So that's it basically. Fun as always, though my pick up attempts were rather weak. I haven't been single in over four years, so I'm a bit rusty. Roddy Piper was a super nice guy. I was seriously expecting him to be a bitter old man, but he really wanted to take the time and have a conversation with everyone. It's stuff like that you'll always remember.
