  1. Are you guys in interested in other items besides shirts? If so, what would that be?

Hoodies, Hats, Mugs and hugs. Oh! A Mike action figure!

New! From Earth-2.net! Kung Fu Grip, Mike! Mike comes with 6 moving joints and Kung Fu Acttion! Simply press the button on the back and WABAMF! No more trolls around here! Mike also comes with signature hoodie and notepad! WABAMF!

Any chance of this happening? I'd be happy to make molds for an E-2 action figure set, lol. In all seriousness, I know a female friend of mine is really good at making customs, I could make it work. You could lead your own platoon of GI Joe's, and you get the spot next to the Baroness on my shelf. That's all I'm saying. :*

  2. I haven't read final crisis, so thanks for pointing it out. But really, after Tim located the cave, they could have gone back to look in the cromagnon or neanderthal eras. Or even just go back with knowledge of what happened and wipe it from existence (I wouldn't mind getting rid of countdoown either). But I suppose then you get the whole Ted Kord needs to happen for other things to happen. But all that really comes out of it is a new Robin and Batgirl. The whole Dick as Batman thing played out better in Prodigal if you ask me.

  3. DC Comics has announced that Superman will be involved in the search through time for Batman.

TIME MASTERS: VANISHING POINT #1 launches "The Search for Batman," as Rip Hunter puts together a high-powered band of Time Masters to travel through time in search of the World's Greatest Detective. But can even the combined might and skill of Superman, Green Lantern and Booster Gold help the Time Master pinpoint where Batman went at the conclusion of FINAL CRISIS? Information that could keep Vanishing Point from tearing itself apart?

This six-issue mini-series, a companion piece to BATMAN: THE RETURN OF BRUCE WAYNE and a story chock full of clues that point toward the next major DCU event, hits in July from writer artist Dan Jurgens with a variant cover by Chris Sprouse and Karl Story (the artists on BATMAN: RETURN OF BRUCE WAYNE #1).

Visit DC's "The Source" to hear what editor Mike Carlin has to say about this new comic book series

May I ask why Booster Gold is only getting involved now? The miniseries would have been a oneshot if he just went before batman went all caveman/pirate/witchunter

  4. It's E-2 the show that has me screwed. I am at episode 12 out of 392. I know this should go under the E-2 the Show boards, but any highlights you guys recommend I skip to?

Honestly, I recommend all of the shows, but here's a sampling:

    - The Saw episodes (2, 69, 169, 278, 356) episode 2 you were just getting your legs, and I prey you bash it more.

    - The Batman episodes (258, 266, 293, 325, 350) Good God, you reviewed Batman and Robin. From WFP I learned you are atheist, but regardless, I'll pray for you. -_-

    - The vampire special (16)

    - The Muppet episode (25)

    - Superman Returns (39)

    - Our 50 favorite geeky things (50)

    - Our love letter to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (100)

    - Jenny and I discuss "Blink" (158)

    - The 20th anniversary of Star Trek: The Next Generation (160)

    - The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters (180)

    - Right at Your Door (196)

    - Justice League: The New Frontier (199)

    - The Crow (200)

    - My house was broken into while I was napping (233)Geez,hope everything was okay, but as it happened over almost 2 years ago, I assume you were over all unscathed.

    - She-Ra: The Secret of the Sword (261)

    - Des and I discuss Robert Kirkman's controversial statements about comic books (268)

    - Teen Wolf (269)

    - Dan and I praise Steven Moffat (284)

    - Marvels and Kingdom Come (289) As I suggested this for a versus topic, next one I will listen to :)

    - Twilight (300) This better be a rant, if not I will be sorely dissapointed.

    - The best things about comic books in the 1990s (304)

    - The 20th anniversary of Quantum Leap (309)

    - Ian and Des talk about the Daredevil: Director's Cut (335)

    - Superman / Batman: Public Enemies (345)

    - The direct-to-DVD Wonder Woman cartoon (367)

I plan on listening to them all eventually, but thanks for pointing out the highlights.

  5. Trust me, I loooooove boobies, but Starfire's outfit always felt skanky to me. It makes Powergirl look like a flat-chested maiden. I love the TT TV show and have it on DVD, and to be honest, she kinda annoyed me on there. My favorite characters were Raven, Beast Boy, and Slade. Plus, it's Barbara f'ing Gordon.

  6. Any chance of a simple black hoodie with the E-2 logo? Or a WFP Batman vs Jesus one, though that one might get ya sued, and you are trying to MAKE money for the site... Here is a crude photoshop of a design of the idea I got Mike, feel free to take it if ya want, as it IS your logo.

  7. WHAAT? I never knew there was such a thing. I don't think Teen Titans is in the DCAU, but I sure as hell won't complain, is this lost ep on youtube?

P.S. Catched up on Bigger on the Inside after yesterday, and right now I'm at WFP episode 32, and I only started like 4 days ago. Wish me luck! It's E-2 the show that has me screwed. I am at episode 12 out of 392. I know this should go under the E-2 the Show boards, but any highlights you guys recommend I skip to?

  8. While I have not had the opportunity to vote in the video game console contest, looking through some old threads, the concept seems fun enough. The mods can take the ideas they like and make a poll, or not, just thinking these were some that popped in my head

    :)

    Bane vs Kraven

    Black Cat vs Catwoman

Batman Year One vs The Dark Knight Returns

    Kingdom Come vs Marvels

    Damien Wayne vs Jason Todd

    Bizarro vs General Zod

Vandal Savage vs Ra’s Al Ghul

    Lex Luthor vs Norman Osborne

    Sinestro vs Omega Red

Batman vs Jesus (This one came to me during my first listen to World’s Finest Podcast, episode 76)

  9. I like Smallville, hell the last 2 eps were pretty good. While I agree some are hit or miss, I just take it as an elsewolds take on a modern origin of Superman. And not every show on the CW is bad. I mean you have Supernatural, Gossip Girl, America's next top model... :P It is kind of sad though when you think that Smallville is the CW's flagship show. They are even making a Smallville RPG . I call the emo one! No, the other one.

  10. Starting to listen to this, one of my new faves. Listening to the BTAS eps, but think I will jump back on with Teen Titans. Anyways, JLU is back on Boomerang! Here's the current schedule.

  11. I probably am biased, as I am a guy who started to read comics in the 90's (Hence my favorite GL is Kyle and Speedster is Bart) but I really enjoy it. Tim's growing up, and even though there can be a few roadblocks, it seems to be a good series. I also from a fan level am kinda pissed about the whole Death of Bruce thing, as in the end it was just made to make Damien Robin and Stephanie Batgirl. I looooove Dick Grayson, but he became his own man as Nightwing. I haven't read much of Cassandra Cain after No Man's Land, but Babs is my favorite Batgirl, and I like seeing her take on a mentor role. After reading Alex Ross's "Rough Justice", I wish they went along with putting Babs in a Lazarus Pit and made her the new Batwoman, though Oracle rocks my socks. That makes the current Batman: Ace of Detectives audio drama even better, as that is what recently happened in episode 50.

  12. Thanks! Note that I have many favorite characters, so I just will name of the books I have in my pull list:

    DC:

    Red Robin

Batman (Not Batman and Robin, just Batman, and to be honest, it's just Prodigal all over again)

    Batgirl

    Superman/Batman

    Green Lantern

    Green Lantern Corps

    The Flash

    Birds of Prey

I usually also read Superman, but as he's barely in his books, I dropped it and are waiting until the trades come out. No monthly Marvel, but I have a few Captain America omnibuses (or omnibi?) and some Daredevil trades.

  13. I heard spoilers that said

Justin Hammer will be more of the antagonist than Whiplash, serving a Lex Luthor like role helping setting up plotlines for future films (possibly a Norman Osborne stand in, since Sony still has those rights), and the actor is in talks for return appearences.

I am sold. While I am more into DC, this is awesome. I am sold. On Fandango right now.
