  1. I know a couple people who'll probably buy this before me so I won't have to worry, I'll just play it when I can steal it from them and judge it from there. But I will say one thing, I sure as hell ain't buy this game until I try it.

Although I will admit the story mode sounds really cool.

  2. I' m sorry, but when you're watching another person play the game and he starts flipping out because he keeps getting laughed at by that dog, it's just tooooo fucking hilarious. So I voted he made me laugh, because he brought my older brother great pain back in the day.

Although he did piss me off when I was playing it. <_<

  3. I despised this game. It was like a super-deformed Gauntlet Legends with piss-poor, $100 controllers. Terrible, terrible.

THANK YOU! It's good to hear that I'm not alone.

And no, everyone uses the GBA as a controller. You don't get to use a regular controller unless you play the single player mode.

  4. Never said anything about expecting it to be a true Final Fantasy game, I just expected it to have a little more interesting story to it, not something that would put me to sleep after listening to three boring conversations. They've made several RPG's that had great story to it that weren't FF games*Like Chrono Trigger for example* so why couldn't CC have had a more interesting story?

  5. Eh, guess I am alone. :(

The game was decent, I don't think it was terrible but it could've been much better. First of all the storyline was just flat out boring to me. There were several time where I had to keep myself from falling asleep just trying to listen to the dialogue in the game. If they made it just a little bit more interesting I might've enjoyed this game, but it didn't interest me in the slightest bit. And the fight scenes were just average, nothing terrible but also nothing I'd kill to play through again.

As for the GBA Connectivity, I just couldn't get it. I understand the purpose of it, but I just couldn't get myself to enjoy using it. It also didn't help matters that I'm completely spoiled with the Wave Bird.

The concept was a good one, but I just feel it could've been much better.

  6. This game disappointed me, I dunno if I just had way too high of expectations since this was Square. But I really just didn't like this game, even with the GBA Connectivity*Which honestly, I couldn't get into at all*. Am I alone in this, or does someone else agree with me?

  7. I still stand firm.... I hate the way Sony controllers are and probably always will.

X-Box controllers I'm just now starting to get the use to, but I'm still more familar with the Cube controllers and it'll take awhile before I can give a better annalysis on the X-Box one. Never the less, it's Game Cube for me.

  8. Yeah, the game isn't without it's faults, I won't deny that. I've come to a bunch of points where I'm trying to run away from a fight after just coming from another one, and my partners are trying to pick up a fight with the enemies when were all basically dead. Not to mention the game has frozen on me atleast two or three times.

But the good out weighs the bad by a long shot with this game, and yeah, it's so fun doing things for the darkside.

  9. As I said in another thread.... played it.... beat it twice and have another game on hard mode that I'm working on. I'm just frightened of how difficult Mother Brain is gonna be once I reach her. That boss was a freaking pain in the ass on normal alone.

  10. Metroid (NES)- That game is hard as fuck, but I'll eventually give it another chance after playing Zero Mission and having a little better idea as to where to go.

Metroid II: Return of Samus (Gameboy)- Haven't played it yet, but I'm hoping to soon.

Super Metroid (SNES)-Really cool game but I can't remember much about it.

Metroid Prime (GameCube)- Graphically amazing and a complete u-turn from the rest of the series. Just flat out amazing game.

Metroid Fusion (GBA)-This game was fun and completely different from the series, but it just didn't do much for me as the other games.

Metroid: Zero Mission (GBA) -I beat this game within a matter of four hours the first time I played it*One hour and fourty six minutes my second time through* and am now working on beating this game on hard mode. Honestly, it's probably the easiest of the bunch but it was still an awesome ride.

I'd go with Prime with Zero Mission coming in at a close second.

  11. Because Nintendo is stubborn and doesn't believe that Online games will sell well. They believe that this GBA connectivty is the way to go and don't appear to be changing their stance on the subject*Which hasn't impressed many people outside of Nintendo*. Why they don't just make a couple GC games Online just to experiment with it is beyond me.

I swear, I'm still a huge Nintendo fan, but this subject just saddens me and makes me extremly angry. :bang:

  12. I think someone would've mentioned it back in that other thread about what systems they own, so I highly doubt anyone else does. Besides... it's not like their selling any of them anyway.

And no, I have not nor will I ever waste my money on Nokias so-called handheld system/cell phone. I'd rather buy a freaking X-Box then that thing.

  13. Go to your local Gamestop and see if they have it. I dunno if you'd be willing to buy Mario/Duck Hunt, but if you care then they usually have old NES games on sale that were sold by other people. Hell, that's how I got the original Zelda.

-edit- Completely forgot you'd need the gun.... nevermind. <_<

  14. Well, if that is true that they not only lost the creators of 007, but also another one of Rares really good developer, I'd feel soo much better about losing them.

Back on topic... I honeslty don't think we'll see any big time Rare games coming to the X-Box. Sure, we might see something like Kameo or possibly some other average title, but I think they'll save their heavy hitter for when the X-Box 2 hits selves.

If we do see a Rare game, it'll probably show up at E3 in some shape or form. If not, I honeslty doubt Rare will be releasing anything for Microsofts big black box.
