  1. Colored this convention commission by Reilly Brown just for fun.
  2. Here are some recent commissions. I am currently available to take on color commissions, so please let me know if you have something that needs colors. My kids are looking awfully thin. I think I'm going to have to feed them soon. Comments and feedback are always appreciated. Lines by Cory Hamscher Lines by Harold Edge Lines by John Byrne
  3. Color commission for myself. LOL I recently became a Dr. Who fan and absolutely fell in love with David Tennant's Doctor. Just a brilliantly played character. So I commissioned Caanan to draw it up for me and he came through like a champ! I knew I wanted it inked so I turned to my buddy Mikey whose inks are just so slick. Love this pic! Pencils by Caanan White Inks by Mikey Babinski Colors by me
  4. A couple more pages done for Hi-Fi. This from H'EL #1. Pencils by Dan Jurgens Inks by Norm Rapmund And another couple of color commissions (for which I am still available *hint hint*) Lines by Adelso Corona Lines by Cory Hamscher
  5. Wow, thanks! We're going to be coloring his work on Justice League 3000 too. Howard said that DC wants that textured look again for that book, so while I'm looking forward to working on them, I'm really not looking forward to how long it will take. Ha ha! Some recent commission work. I am available to take on commission work, so if you're interested please shoot me a message or an e-mail. Comments and feedback is always welcome. Pencils by Marat Mychaels Pencils by Brett Booth Inks by Mikey Babinski Lines by Joe Martino
  6. Here is some more Hi-Fi work that just came out. Both of these books presented very different challenges because of the pencils we were given. The Mongul pages were textured (at DC's request) from top to bottom, which made any color hold selecting a lot more time consuming as opposed to if there had been nothing in the negative spaces. And the Brainiac pages were what Brian Miller called the worst scans of pencils he has ever received. He said he spent hours trying to clean them up as best he could, but they were still really brutal. Overall, we were really pleased with how everything came out, but you be the judge! Pencils by Pascal Alixe Pencils by Howard Porter
  7. Some recent commission work. Lines by Marat Mychaels and Mostafa Moussa Lines by Joe Martino Lines by Cory Hamscher Lines by Ken Hunt Lines by Bob Layton
  8. DC's website lists Pascal Alixe as the artist for Superman Annual #2, but I'm pretty certain this isn't his work. Is this Tom Derenick?
  9. So it seems that I can't bring myself to post outside of Facebook and Deviant Art but about every 5-6 months. I keep saying I'm going to change that, but time spent surfing the net is time spent away from working. Grr! I need to find a balance somewhere. Anywho..... Here is some of my more recent work. I went back to work for Hi-Fi following Youngblood being put back up on the shelf but I'm still working on getting another full-time book(s) of my own. In the meantime, I'm available for commission work. Shoot me an e-mail if you're in the market! Art by Daniel Sampere & Vicente Cifuentes
  10. This will be the cover for a book called The Mighty Titan (#3). Lines by Steve Lightle(!!!!) Colors by me Comments and feedback are always welcome.
  11. I love me some Cory Hamscher (in case you couldn't tell)!!! This was a pencil sketch that Cory drew and I had to go color crazy on it. What do you think? And this was a INCREDIBLE piece! (pun intended)
  12. Here are a few pinups I colored for Joe Martino. Pencils by Cory Smith Pencils by Joe Martino Inks by Jeff Huet And lines by Cory Hamscher. (Face blurred to protect secret identity. )
  13. Another commission for my buddy, Mikey Babinski! This one looked intimidating from the start and man, it was a beast. I've always loved Bart Sears' style and I really wanted to do it some justice. C&C's are more than welcome! Pencils: Bart Sears Inks: Mikey Babinski Colors: Me
  14. Another color commission for Mikey. C&C's are appreciated. Pencils by Lee Kohse Inks by Mikey Babinski Colors by me

  16. Have I really not posted anything in 6 months? Wow, am I slacking. I won't dump everything but here is some of the more recent colors I've done. I'll try to be around a little more often. Comments are always appreciated! Some Youngblood from issues 75, 76 and 77. Lines by Jon Malin A couple covers to Youngblood 76 and 77 Lines by Rob Liefeld And some color commission work Lines by Cory Hamscer Lines by Jerry Rascoe
  17. No, we were at Space City Con here in Houston. It was a first year con, and it showed. The lack of sales did allow me to spend a good amount of time talking with Khoi, Whilce Portacio, and Art Freakin' Adams though. All of whom were extremely nice.
  18. This started out as sketch by Khoi Pham that I had asked to color and then turned out to be sort of a color contest over at Ten Ton's forums. As soon as I asked about it, I got slammed with work and never got around to coloring it. LOL Khoi and I were at the same convention this weekend so I made it a point to get it colored and presented him with a nice printed copy of it. He loved it and now we're going to make prints of it for sale and do some other prints together in the near future. That worked out nicely. Pencils by Khoi Pham Colors by me.
  19. Thanks, guys! I absolutley LOVE coloring The Thing. The rocks can be a bit of a pain, but I just love the way it looks when it's done. If they ever bring back Marvel Two In One I'd step on people's throats for the chance to color it.
  20. DOOM!!!! Pencils by Jon Malin Inks by Mikey Babinski Color by me.
  21. Another piece done with Mikey Babinski. This time with Eric Henson's pencils.
  22. I have a plethora of custom brushes that I've either found or made. Specifically, SW's energy was a couple different custom brushes that I used to paint it in. I'd say about 50% of the time, it will be drawn in by the artist and the other 50% is left to the colorist. Just depends on how detailed the artist likes to be.
  23. Just finished this piece. Whew, it was a beast! This will be available as a print in the very near future. C&C's are highly encouraged and appreciated! Pencils by Jeremy Dale Inks by Mikey Babinski Colors by me
  24. From the September Image solicits! Pencils by Ryan Ottley Colors by yours truly. C&C's are welcome! Now back to work...
  25. My first cover work for DC! WOOT!!!!!! Lines by Rob Liefeld Colors by me. This has already been turned in, but C&C's are still welcome!
